Works great
Produces good ,hot sparks. Have had no trouble igniting good tinder.

Nice, large rod
I like this firestarter because it is easy to hold in the hand and make a long stroke. The very first strike with it I made a fire.

The two pack isn’t a full two pack
Looks like decent quality. I got the 1/2 inch. Sparks pretty easy. I do like the thickness and length. But took off a star because I got the double pack thinking they both would come with the lanyard but only one is equipped with that. That’s a little annoying.

Good deal, but smaller than expected
These were much shorter than I had expected, but I suppose that's on me for not reading the description very well. Once you rub the black paint off, these spark rather easily

No second strike tool in the 2-pack! Plus... weak leather string.
The 2x pack would make you think it includes 2 rods and 2 striker tools with leather lanyard. This is not the case, the second rod does not have anything attached like the first. The images indicate two rods, each with a lanyard and (implied striker). The leather string is terribly weak, I broke it trying to untie the knot that came in it. Would be best replaced with paracord.
