I love my chaps, but I injured my back a few years ago and climbing into or out of a pair of chaps now is extremely painful and difficult. Same goes for the pants from my rain suit. Anything that I have to struggle with to slip over my boots, forget it.I saw these and remembered seeing a rider wearing a pair several years ago while riding in late fall/early winter. They praised their set, so for the price, I though lets give it a shot. I have to tell you that for the price the quality really impressed me. Not what I expected for the money. Putting them on and removing them is a piece of cake! And the lining will absolutely keep the old shin and knee bones warm.An added benefit, in my opinion, is that these take up less space in your bags as compared to a full blown pair of chaps. Put the two together, roll them up and voila. Space for other must haves.Recommend for anyone who is physically challenged in your legs or lower back.

These are great for keeping legs warm on a cold day when riding for those time when you don't want to put on the full riding gear. They are well insulated and will keep you warm and keep the cold air from rushing up your pant legs. I highly recommend!

They went on really quick and easy, especially compared to my full chaps.They have an adjustable belt loop garter strap & hook so they don't slide down. This was not in the description and I was happy to see it.They are flexible (flimsy) like a jacket sleeve. I would have preferred armor in the knees.They work well with a bike with a faring, but too much leg would be exposed otherwise. There were a few parts of my thighs that would still get cold on a really cold day (30s), but a short ride would be tolerable.

I ride my motorcycle in the winter and the temperature can get to 35 degrees during the day these leg covers keep my legs warm.

These work great for what I have used them for.. Never below freezing of water temps. Remember to put the hooks to the outside or you will scrach up your tank or rip your seat. I bring this up because I read a review where someone did that ... It was easy to see how he did it after I got them..

They are warm and make the cold days rideable. I was disappointed in the quality of the material. While they are warm, there is no reinforcement on the knees, and they don’t seem like they will survive any kind of accident.
