Please do not rely on negative reviews if you don’t understand what this product is for! DS Spectral is a treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). It is not a cosmetic product or a “hair growth tonic.” It is a medical treatment, one of the best in its category, and it is prescribed for me by trichologists. With AGA, these products are used for WHOLE LIFE!!! A very important point: DS Spectral does NOT work on its own. It is part of a treatment protocol, so you will not see results if you use only this product. If you have scalp sensitivity or a reaction, only a doctor can select an alternative. I have been on my treatment protocol for 5 years. Unfortunately, I started too late — for a long time I thought my hair loss was caused by stress or nutrition and didn’t see a doctor. Because of that, full hair density will not return. This is not a miracle tonic, it helps stop progression and preserve what can be preserved. My routine (in case it helps someone): • Morning — DS Spectral • Evening — DSD 3.4.4 • Twice a week — The Innate Life Rosemary Scalp Treatment oil mask overnight DSD 3.4.4 can be replaced with Decohair if you don’t have scalp reactions. Oil masks can be used in courses, but topical treatments for AGA must be used continuously. If you do not have androgenetic alopecia, you do not need this product. Essentially, this is a milder form of minoxidil with less shedding and no severe rebound effect. My results are amazing and shown in the photos and videos. The last photo was taken last year, when all the new hair had grown to the length of the rest of the hair.

I'VE used Nanoxidil for years. It’s not better than Minoxidil—just less irritating, which is why I paid the higher price. But the new sprayer is terrible—it wastes product, barely hits the scalp, and I need 15+ pumps instead of the 6 they recommend. Even using it 9 times a week, the bottle doesn’t last a month. Total disappointment. Very disappointed about the sprayer and waste that causes. This product is $44 a month.
