Sturdy bio-degradable pots
I transfered seedlings to these 3" pots after they had outgrown the cells in a starter tray. I can then slowly introduce them to the outside environment as weather permits until they are sturdy enough to go in the ground. These biodegradable pots are quite sturdy and are absorbent with no hole on the bottom so they don't leak when watered. Although they claim you can bury the pot with the plant, I prefer to first rip the bottom half off to allow roots to spread more quickly. These come with two useful tools, a tapered dibbler for poking holes for seeds or seedlings and a small shovel. I received two stacks of 30 pots each and pots are easy to separate by grabbing the one on each end and twisting in opposite directions. No doubt I will re-order these when needed.

They do the job
These little pots do the job. Just fill them in and plant some seeds. I put them in a plastic tray and set them on a warming sheet: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074753J5V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Once the plants come up, I turn on the heat lamp

Fun For Kids
Using these to germinate though I am sure there are better/smaller containers for this it has given my small kiddos the materials to experience what it’s like to grow something from seeds. Don’t overwater while germinating as the container will fall apart. I suspect once planted it will fall apart which is what I want. Good product, cups stick together rather tight sometimes.

Pots hold up
I am trying to start Ponderosa Pine seedlings. I bought these pots so that I could take them straight to planting once they come up. I believe these pots will do just that. As you might imagine the pots get pretty wet while adding soil and seed and waiting for the seeds to germinate...they hold up.

Good Pot
Very good pot just the way they were stacked together, pulling the apart caused some to tear. They should put some paper or something between them.

Solid value
These are a good value.. classic design - thin paper mache/cardboard cups. They are an ideal size, and you get a bunch of them. The tools and tags are very useful as well.

Would buy again
Works well but can be a bit flimsy and fall apart if too much water is added (oops!)Also lost several as they sort of stick to each other. Ripped holes in a few as I was trying to pull them apart.Overall happy and a good biodegradable option

Disintegrates easily in the ground.
Worked well for starting seedlings. Size is good and the included plant tags made it easy to identify the plantings. The pots absorb water well, making it easy to break up the pot during planting in the ground.
