This cutting board has been an absolute godsend. It’s a high quality board well worth its price! The walnut is beautiful and soft enough that it doesn’t dull my professional knives like a countertop or ceramic board would. The ridge on the edge captures fruit juices and meat spillage to help prevent mess from getting all over your counter. It’s large enough to prep multiple things and keep what is prepped on the side if that’s your jam. It cleans easily with soap and water and a little lemon juice and baking soda if you need to get any scents out. Most importantly, the board is finished well with mineral oil and the finish doesn’t strip so you never have splinters or a weird texture to the board after cleaning. It ships with adhesive non slip feet that you can put on the board which I do wish were pre installed or something a little more secure to the board but they send extra feet if one does fall off. That said it works great as a universal all round cutting board or as a display for charcuterie or other hors d'oeuvres if you so choose. I’d highly recommend this and any other Dofira cutting board! I’ll most certainly be buying them again in the future!

Buying wooden kitchen items is sometimes a gamble; the product photos are always of the most beautiful wood while the product you receive may not be so great looking.I held my breath as I opened the package my black walnut cutting board and ... spectacularly beautiful! The wood selection is perfect, the craftsmanship is excellent and the finish is impeccable. Did I spell that right?I was a bit hesitant about the maker's mark routed in the lower right corner but it is shallow and the edges are crisp. It gives the product a sharp, custom appearance. Well done!I looked at a dozen cutting boards, both on Amazon and at the local bricks - and - mortar stores and chose the Dofira product. I'm glad I did.

Board is beautiful out of package. Nicely packaged, would have been a great gift box. Upon application of mineral oil the beauty was even more. With regular oiling I believe this board will last some time. The size & weight are nice 14x11x0.8 as well. Not too heavy to pull out and fits my needs perfectly.

Very wobbly on a flat surface

The walnut board I bought was lovely but had several imperfections. I contacted customer service. They responded very quickly and offered to send a new cutting board. The replacement board arrived quickly. It is beautiful, and I am very pleased with the board and their customer service.

This black walnut cutting board is gorgeous! The solid wood is beautiful, and the workmanship is exquisite. I still can't believe I bought this for such a great price! I could have easily paid three times the price for a comparable product. Thank You!

I like the real walnut wood composition of the cutting board. Great price too. Just the right size and not too heavy to carry in your meat after you barbecue!
