Q: Does this dry soft and waxy or hard and dry?

Soft and waxy but it’s extremely difficult to remove and it got clumpy fast. I’d wear makeup and 3 days later it would still be coming off after using eye makeover remover and having not worn makeup for 3 days. Dior Show or MAC with the blue top are better and worth it.

I love it! Not only is it waterproof, which is great for Summer, those with seasonal allergies, as well as those of us who are grieving......it goes on thick, yet not cakey or too clumped up. I suggest one slow layer at a time, a few times each eye. You might want to do less if you already have a pretty nice natural lash.....depends on the look you're going for. Bottom line: Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara, Very Black, will give you big, lonf, dark Awesome lashes.....even if you had none to really speak of in the first place - like me😊.
