Totally worth it. Like others state, the colors are great. Deeply rich, vibrant, and the contrast of black/white is impressive. My first curved ultrawide - very happy with it. Everything looks great including gaming. Watched a movie the other night on it and was blown away. Get it if you are on the fence like I was...The only downside to the particular model i purchased was the stand being so basic, but it is fine for my needs. You can always get a different mount if needed. Great monitor!

The Asus Ultrawide monitor is great if your computer can handle the resolution. If you want to take advantage of the refresh rate, depending on the gpu it can be very demanding so you do need a gpu that can handle the 3440x1440 smoothly at least to 144hz, i was limited to 120hz and gameplay for fps games was lacking for me at that refresh rate so i wasnt satisfied. Colors need to be adjusted out of the box but once adjusted the monitor looks great. There is no height or swivel adjustibility. Speakers are not very loud and they don't sound good. Overall very nice monitor for the price. I switched to a 2560x1440 monitor so I can get 144hz with my pc setup.

I bought this for use as a 1080P gaming monitor and it does it very well. The only issue I have had in using it, out of the box, is that Windows did not properly recognize the monitor out of the box and simply installed it as a Generic Monitor, so I had to obtain a monitor driver from ASUS Support website, in order to get the monitor properly installed. Normally, this software would be included on a flash drive, but ASUS has decided not to do so and that may be how things are done these days. Even though this is an AMD FreeSync monitor, it will work very well with Nvidia G-Sync GPUs, but you will not get the same level of control or automatic function with refresh rate controls, so keep that in mind if you want to use it for PC gaming.Ideally, you'd hook up a gaming PC, PS5, and Xbox Series console to this monitor, to take advantage of the VRR/FreeSync feature and that's exactly what I've done, so I am getting the most I can out of it. The only thing I that I absolutely do not like about this monitor is the base stand, as the bottom of the monitor sits very close to whatever surface you put the monitor on, which means that you will have to put the monitor on top of something, to elevate the screen to the appropriate height to comfortably view the monitor and access it's right-rear side controls. The built-in speakers provide loud-enough sound, at an acceptable level of quality for a monitor with speakers, so you can certainly use it for gaming or media/everyday stuff, though I recommend running good powered speakers off the monitor's headphone/speaker jack, if you really want better sound that doesn't involve using a gaming headset.All things considered, I'm quite happy with my purchase and intend to buy more of these, for use with my HDMI-equipped retro gaming consoles.
