ORACAL651 Glossy Permanent Vinyl 12 Inch x 6 Feet - Dark Blue

I read all of the reviews and was hesitant to purchase but I really needed this quickly so I decided to take a chance. I was quite happy with the vinyl when it arrived the next day. The packaging was fine as was the tape holding the roll together. It was more like painters tape and came off easily with no sticky residue so no vinyl was lost. I will definitely order again as needed. Also, the navy blue color was perfect with some gloss.

This was a nice glossy dark blue vinyl. My only issue is that the tape used to keep it rolled up was difficult to remove and left a residue. The amazon item sticker would not peel off either. This caused me to have to cut several inches of vinyl off the end of the roll because it was unusable. The vinyl cut well and weeded easily. It wasn't as glossy as I expected but the shade of blue was exactly as described.

So let me start by saying this product IS genuine Oracal 651 and it IS the correct color. My poor review is due to the state my package arrived in. Now I'm sure the roll of vinyl was fine when it was packaged and that it was actually damaged in transit, but if this is happening as often as all these reviews say it is then the fulfillment center needs to reconsider how it is packaged. My roll must have been flattened at some point and as we all know a crease to the center of the roll absolutely kills it. It becomes unusable in a plotter. Here are a few shots (pardon the poor lighting) of the damage. You can see the crease is in the center of the roll, it is not round at ALL, and what it looks like unrolled. One thing I CAN commend here is that this roll wasn't wound so tight that it was unusable. I'm sure we've all received a roll of vinyl that was rolled incredibly tight and that's no fun fight either. It makes the roll harder to damage and crease during shipping, but is a fight to loosen up and be workable. My order was refunded (vinyl rolls aren't returnable) and I plan to just reorder the stuff and hope for the best.

I am a fan of Oracle 651 vinyl however I was hoping this would be more of a navy and it was more so a classic blue that was a little darker.

This is a reputable permanent vinyl. Will last through a dishwasher as well. Value is so so because you can easily get this product for much much less but I needed it fast so had to order here. Used this to personalize sports water bottles for my sons team.

This vinyl seemed a lot stiffer and more difficult to weed than any other piece of 651 I have worked with before. That being said, after the weeding and everything, the end results seem to be the same, it sticks and seems to be just as permanent.
