Great Performance, Low Temps, Low Fan Speeds
First…prices are finally starting to come down. MSRP on a founder’s edition card is $500, which is what everyone wants to compare to; don’t. A partner card like this will always cost more, so comparing to MSRP on founder’s is a bit dishonest. That said, if you wait, they will probably continue to drop, just don’t expect this one to hit $500After waiting so long to get one, I decided at $700, I’ll give it a shot. So far, I have been blown away. I am upgrading from a Radeon RX 5700XT, which has been a rocky experience. The rest of my machine:AMD Ryzen 5800x CPUCorsair Vengeance 16GB 3600MHz RAMCorsair RM750x PSUI play on a Dell 27” 155hz gaming monitor at 1440p resolution. So my first immediate comparison would be with the RX 5700XT. This card runs at consistently lower temps and with lower power draw, even when OC. The 5700XT required two different PSUs until the current Corsair one finally ran the card stable. To say I was hesitant to get a better price/value 6700XT or 6800XT is an understatement, though I think those would’ve been fine with a quality PSU. I no longer have worries about fluctuating voltages, core or hotspot temp while in game. For actual performance details, I would advise looking at an in-depth review with a controlled environment. However, I will say I am very impressed, even coming from a card that could handle games pretty well. The 5700XT provided 60+ fps on RDR2 at 1440p, albeit with some compromises in image quality. The fact I can still hit higher average FPS with higher settings in that title alone is mind blowing to me.Additionally, OC capabilities on this card seem quite good. you’re capped at how much power you can push to the card, but I’ve consistently been able to hit +220MHz core and +1000MHz memory without any fuss

Easy Upgrade
I upgraded from a NVIDIA GeForce GT 1660 TI. This GPU was about 50% longer than my existing GPU and required 2-8 Pin Power Plugs. I think the docs spec a 650 W power supply, but I had already upgraded mine to 850 because being an engineer I KNOW that more is better (smile). The GPU plugged right in and booted up with no fuss. The price was down to something that felt reasonable and I was able to get same day delivery if ordered by noon .. There was noticeable increase in frame rates. The Nvidia GeoForce Experience software helps you set up your games for best performance.Great experience so far.

Just buy it if it is shipped and sold from Amazon
I had my doubts about buying a PNY card as it is a smaller AIB partner and there was not much information out about this particular 3070, but I can confirm it performs really well. Temps never go above 50 centigrade in my system and performance is on par with other 3070s. It isn't noisy either. Was a huge upgrade over my 1070 and I think it plays well with my Viewsonic xg270qg in that it feels more responsive for some reason. Maybe it communicates better with the G Sync Module. Don't pay more than $1100 for this card. At that price it still is overpriced but what can you do if that is the best option available. In conclusion,This is a safe buy that will satisfy all your 1440p 144HZ gaming needs well maybe closer to 100FPS on High settings

Has Coil Whine
The card works completely fine, the only problem is coil whine started a few months in. Apparently, this does not affect performance in any way so it's more of a nuisance than anything. Great bang for your buck though.

I wasn't sure about PNY, but so far so good
I picked this up for $499 the day before Christmas, which I thought was a great deal given inflation and the price of graphics cards lately. I was nervous about "cheaping out" for a brand like PNY, but I'm happy to report a reliable and stable experience 3 months in. I will update this review if that changes ...
