SodaStream Art Sparkling Water Maker (Black) with CO2 and Dishwasher Safe Bottle

This is so awesome, I wish we had purchased sooner. This version does not have to be plugged into anything and is so easy to use. The carbonated water is awesome and i love how you can make it more or less bubbly. We also purchased the bubly pack of different flavors and they are great! It’s also so good plain.

I love but still figuring how much fizz I need thought I got a 1 touch system.

Just a great, long lasting machine. I bought the retro style with the pull lever. It quit working long before this one.

Looks pretty online but its a rickety and flimsy plastic contraption. This is my 3rd Sodastream, all varying levels of crappy, but this one is especially frustrating. First, it needs a new type of gas cartridge that's supposed to be easier and now I have the pleasure of buying new cannisters. The new improved gas cartridge insertion mechanism failed the first time I used it - some would call it user error except that since it is an uncomplicated brittle plastic lever, it was going to fail one way or another. This is a so called "Art" model which appears to be code for "now you have to buy new bottles". To recap: device is a cheap piece of non-recyclable pre-garbage. The gas cannisters you've been collecting for years now have to be replaced. And the multitude of plastic bottles you likely already have need to be replaced because they won't fit.Three thumbs down and poke in the eye.

This SodaStream replaced our Aarke that broke after 3 years. And, we are super happy with it. Although it doesn’t have the stainless steel wrap, the easy pull down handle is great, and the easy load is top notch! I even allow my kids to use it.The only issue is that the first pull down ALWAYS spews and overflows water. Not sure why. I’ve made sure I almost just tap it fast enough for a little C02 comes out, but the kids are still having a hard time with the first pull down. We ALWAYS end up with water all over the table and underneath the unit. Not sure if this is a design flaw, or if we just got an extra powerful unit.
