Worked great for stock tank pool. Good to have shut-offs to be able to work on pump without losing water.

I purchased an Intex c1500 pump without realized the hose size was larger than the valve size on my intex metal frame pool. The pump comes with the nozzel that pumps water into the pool, but not the nozzle that takes water out of the pool. This kit comes with both meaning I now have an extra which is fine. Only other thing to note is that if your pool has smaller valves, you need to cut a larger opening to accommodate these valves. This had me nervous, but the instructions with the product show you what to do and there are lots of videos online showing you the steps. In reality, I cut the holes and installed the values in a few minutes. Easy. One tip, while most of these products tell you to hand tighten the valves, I couldn't get the valves tight enough by hand and had minor leaking around the seams. But adding a few rotations with a pipe wrench got things nice and tight and stopped the leaks. So anyway this does the trick and is well priced.

Used on a 800gallon water tank to make a nice redneck swimming hole for the kids. Function great, great value and durable.

Did what I needed them to do

A little after I purchased these in July of 2022, I received a message from the seller asking if I had problems with the valves. I answered that I was not able to tighten the outer valve to the bulkhead going through the pool without the thread slipping. I had been able to get it to stay on without leaking, but it wasn't by any means secure. The seller offered to either give me a partial refund or to send me another set with a better design once they came out on August 10th, 2022. I opted to wait for the better design. Today I received them. The problem is solved! I am able to hand tighten to a point where the seal feels secure. I was impressed with the seller because they reached out to me to solve the problem.

Great to add to your pool so you can close valves to disconnect your pump

For a very critical part of a pool filtration system, these plunger valves are garbage. The valve itself feels pretty sturdy and solid, but the female, nut which should be the strongest part of the valve, is of poor quality. The nut is two plastic halves snapped together and a good tighten by hand-/No over tightened, and the snap connection breaks and then the threads barely hold.I used a ridiculous amount of Teflon tape to make a tighter seal, carefully tightened as far as I could before it stripping again, and then sealed the $h!t out of any any all seems with a good caulking.I am so tired of low quality garbage from China.
