Torco Type F Limited-Slip Additive - 4oz

I used this while doing a rear end oil change on my 2006 GTO worked like a charm you can feel it work as it should now it also made the whine noise go down that sometimes these cars get, possibly extended life of it I definitely recommend give it a try.

I used this on my b-series transmission with kaaz 2way and used to get crazy chatter while turning under 10mph that i would literally have to fight with my steering wheel. I used about half the bottle with torco MTF and my chatter has gone waaaay down to what i feel comfortable just enough to where i know the LSDis still working and i can now turn the wheel with just 2 fingers when i needed both hands before to fight the LSD. The LSD still engages when im attacking a turn or going full throttle. Definitely recommend this and any Torco products!

2005 Gto rear diff was spooling around corners. Changed the fluid and added this modifier and the problem was gone!

Saved me over $1000 on a new rear differential!! I purchased a 2004 GTO with the six speed manual and the LSD rear differential. After putting new tires on I noticed a skipping noise from the rear differential after driving long distance. I replaced the fluid with the Torco racing gear lube 85/145 and added this friction modifier. It took care of the noise! 95% better. I would still get a skip noise here and there but NOTHING like it was. So, just to be on the safe side. I drove it for a month then changed the fluid again using their racing gear lube and this modifier again, and the noise is 100% GONE!

Worked perfectly for the rear end of my GTO. Made the rear end a little more quiet. Good product, will buy again.

I'm not sure why some people are using the non-synthetic Torco gear oil when a full synthetic 75w-140 exists by them. I added this to my Royal Purple gear oil that I already had in the rear diff of my 06 GTO and it completely eliminated the clunking and chatter. In my opinion, any good synthetic 75w-140 gear oil like Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobil 1 etc will work as long as this additive is installed along with it. If I do try to Torco gear oil in the future, it will be the full synthetic version. But so far with the Royal Purple, I have no complaints and is probably more accessible than the Torco and a tad cheaper. Hope this helps other people that may have already spent big bucks installing synthetic gear oil but are not happy with the noise from the diff.
