I wanted a travel water bottle like this but in my search I worried about it being really floppy and hard to handle for my children (potentially resulting in major spills). I love that this had a more substantial base “cup” which makes it slightly less compact, but still WAY more light and compact than our current options. When not in use it is light and collapses weight down to a small cup size, then back to full size when you’re ready to fill. The base is a bit wider than my other water bottle which meant it didn’t easily fit in my backpack water bottle pocket. However, it easy attached with a carabiner clip. Never leaked. Several people were stopping us asking about our water bottle on our travels. Great product, thank you!

It is good for travels and the design is very useful and compact, but you cant store water in it for like more than half a day or it would start to get this silicone taste to it

Either the seller is misleading or they have been misled by their manufacturer / supplier as this is NOT food grade silicon. Many reviews discus a plastic smell or taste that lingers even after cleaning in a dishwasher. The water bottle's porous surface absorbs odors and presumably bacteria. Vinegar eventually got the toxic plastic smell out - but when travelling in a hot climate it began to smell of sweat despite daily washing and the dishwasher twice on my return home. These are not the qualities of food-grade silicon. Pity as its a great design and size. Perfect in every way except. critically, for the material used to produce it, rendering it a waste of a good idea.

Love how I can easily collapse the bottle and stash it away in my bag when it’s empty. So far, it hasn’t leaked and it’s very easy to clean. Just soap and hot water washed away the slight silicone smell too. It’s a bit hard to collapse again but I found leaving the lid on and slightly opened while pushing down usually does the trick!

I've had this bottle for a while and while it's cute and easy to use, I find it still has a weird aftertaste. The water just tastes funny.

Perfectly portable, fits inside my lunch box and is and excellent hot water holder and pourer! Definitely please to have purchased this collapsible bottle!

Silicone smell (smells like plastic) that is unbearable, and the water tastes like this if it sits in the bottle for an hour. I tried all the methods to get rid of it recommended by the company: bake in the oven at 350C for 10 min (ONLY the silicone part, NOT the plastic - see red circle), soak overnight in a water/white vinagar/baking soda mix. Several hand-washes and overnight soaks in detergent later, water still tastes awful. Separately, it does leak if the cap isn't screwed on TIGHTLY - that I can handle, but not the stench/taste. Has to be returned. Disappointed! Was really looking for something like this, a non-plastic bottle I could collapse and take travelling.

The cup is great and my son enjoys it very much. The product appeared one day after I completed a review about the difficulties that I was having with their inconsistent and increasingly longer shipping timelines.

In theory, it works. It folds and unfolds BUT its really difficult to stow away. When you try to collapse the bottle, it's flimsy, flops around and it almost feels awkward.
