Very happy with these
These are beautiful shells and you get quite a good bunch. I bought as a gift with canned escargot and the stoneware plates as well. It made a lovely gift.

Super
Arrived clean and in good condition. Only a few had cracks or holes, but overall they were whole and in good shape. As many other purchasers, these were bought for keeping shell-dwellers in an aquarium. Unfortunately that plan hasn't come to fruition as of yet, so I can't speak on that matter, however this product is known to be the go-to for such a use and that's why this product/brand was selected.

Perfect for shell-dwelling cichlids
My Neolamprologus multifasciatus took to these as soon as I added them to the tank. I put the shells in before lights out, and in the morning, the fish had ALL VANISHED... into the shells! They had moved in right away and have been making little adjustments daily to their shell village. Perfect size for your shellies to use. Before adding to tank, rinse them, and then and rotate each shell slowly in all directions several times under the aquarium water to get all bubbles out of the central depth so they won't wobble and float around.

Fish approved!
Great value! Great looking shells! All arrived fully intact. Appeared quite clean but I still rinsed them, boiled them for about 30 mins, let cool, and gave another rinse (all with dechlorinated water, of course). This pack has plenty of shells to start my Neolamprologus multifasciatus colony.WOULD recommend for other cichlid keepers!

My shelldwelling cichlids loved these. It took less than 5min for them to make themselves at home. Unfortunately I had to knock off a star because 2 of my shells developed what I can only assume was some kind of mold. It looked like a white cottony mass in the opening of the shell. I assume there were still remnants of the snail inside and once the shell was submerged in my tank, bacteria and/or mold began to grow. I'd recommend removing the air by drilling a small hole and boiling the shells for 20min to help remove any remaining biological material. A few strokes with a pipe cleaner might not be a bad idea.Otherwise these worked great. Good sized! If you found this review helpful, please click the appropriate button. Thanks!

Higher quality, thicker, none broken.
Finally! Quality shells. Not one of the 36 were broken, and they are a little thicker, so no holes for butter to leak out of. Some other venders are selling thin broken shells(out of 24 shells, 10 were usable for escargot.) This vender/brand all 36 shells are usable. Thank you.
