Great mysteries
Love the plot lines and how well they are carried out. Never disappointed. The attention (but not overdone) to detail keeps the reader actively involved.

Our favorite Cabot Cove sleuth has another murder to solve!
Another very good Murder, She Wrote. This time around we are in the lovely little town of Cabot Cove, Maine, my favorite Murder, She Wrote location, and Jessica Fletcher is at the hot-spot for gossip in Cabot Cove, the local beauty parlor, trying to convince Loretta that she does not want an updated hairstyle when she hears about the new resident and art dealer, Nelson Penzell. According to the grapevine, Penzell is quite the lothario. As usual, Jessica tries to steer clear of the gossip and go about her life as best she can, just trying to get the synopsis for her latest book completed and submitted. It isn't very long before she ends up seeing and hearing the Cabot Cove Casanova in action with a couple of different women and it isn't much longer before the man is found dead in his shop. Was it the sweet young Coreen who ended his life or his business partner who seemed none too pleased with how the business was running or was it one of his conquests or perhaps one of their significant others who decided to put an end to his philandering ways? Join Jessica as she does her best to put the puzzle pieces together in this crazy case that has not only a lot of twists and turns but also a fascinating subplot of national intrigue that brings Jessica's old friend, Michael Haggerty of the MI6, into the story. There's a lot going on in sleepy seaside Cabot Cove, but Jessica, Michael, and Sheriff Metzger are up to the task of solving the case and restoring the hamlet to its usual place of peace.

I have enjoyed reading Murder She Wrote books for years. I enjoy meeting old friends in the characters. This is not the best Murder She Wrote book, but it is a pleasant read.

Interesting Storyline
This is the first book in the series that I’ve read that wasn’t written by Donald Bain. It was interesting to see various characters from the TV series included in this story. I’m just surprised at Coreen’s character. In the series, she’s a conniving, eavesdropping, gossip & I don’t really like her. In this story, she’s sweet, innocent, etc.
