Ok but not for all purposes
Disclaimer: I might have received a bad sample of this camera using the OV4689 sensor. I have returned it.I could not get this to focus on a subject at around 12m using the wide end (5mm) of the lens. The image quality was not good, quite noisy, when using OBS in a well lit environment.Using the lens in the middle of its range was fine.I also have other cameras from ELP that work well with OBS. But these are using the CMOS OV2710 sensor with both the 5-50mm and 2.8-12mm lens.

High frame rate for a good price
I received this item this week, and I have been able to confirm that it works great for my needs. The camera is well packaged, and sturdy. The lens seems very good, some of the aperture and focus adjustment rings are a little tight, but rather that than loose and flimsy.I connected the camera to a Dell laptop running windows 10. I used Kinovea to take a video of a golf swing at VGA resolution. I was able to achieve the state 240 frames per second, in a conservatory in daylight. I haven't checked it outdoors yet but I anticipate no issues.I was able to capture a very clear frame of the club head when practicing a chip shot. and I was able to capture 2 frames of the driver clubhead moving at 93mph (measured by my PRGR launch monitor) with a degree of motion blur, but enough clarity to make some observations about face to path and low pointI haven't figured out the best angles yet - but putting the camera about 12 inches in front of the tee, 2 ft to the side and raised about 10 inches above the mat seems to be a decent angleI was also able to capture 2 frames of a ball in flight from a chip shotI also bought this camera for a computer vision project I have been interested in. I have been able to report a frame rate of 384 fps at VGA resolution using python and opencvIf you're on windows you need to ensure you start the video capture with the DirectShow API:so in Python start the capture as follows:cap = cv2.VideoCapture (index + CAP_DSHOW)

Much better than I had expected.
I purchased this for a specific task which was to provide video streaming for our cricket club , as such the fact that focus , zoom and aperture were completely manual were exactly what I needed, no unwanted autofocus when someone moved across the field of view. My only concerns were if the zoom would have adequate range and the picture quality good enough. As you can see from the pictures the quality is excellent , the camera was placed in our score box and the covers that are visible are about 65 yards away , the zoom proved to be more than adequate. I have also tried it set up within inches of a fish tank and once focus and and zoom were set I could happily watch the "action" in the tank. So a huge focus range and good picture quality, it's also surprisingly sturdy with what feels like a metal case and a good bit of weight to it. Highly Recommended.

Basic USB camera.
Works with Windows 11 with their webcam app. A 4K cam for its designed application. Good.

Really is 4k picture quality
Very good picture quality when focused not very pc friendly when it comes to apps for it. Good for monitoring something maybe not personal video or conferencing. Quality of picture is better than most though and for the money it's worth it
