Long lasting lunch box. It has been through the ringer of a kid in elementary school and still lasting the test of time! Was able to machine wash it and it came out looking new again!

My boys do a million activities during the school year so I have to make sure to pack them enough to get through our long days. I initially wanted to get the Bentgo Meal Prep Lunch Bags, but my boys are only 8 and 10 and already have to lug around school bags and equipment bags so I didn't want to saddle them with massive lunch bags as well. I decided to go with these lunch bags in the hopes that I could fit them into one of their back packs. The first thing I did when they arrived was make sure all of their Bentgo lunch boxes could fit into them AND THEY DID! I was able to fit in each: - Bentgo Kids 2 Compartment Snack Box - Bentgo Fresh lunch box - Bentgo Chill Max lunch box - Ice pack - Utensils There's not room for ANYTHING else and I'm certain I'm putting some strain on the zippers but so far so good. These kits look good, the quality is great (especially the padded handles that make carrying them easier), they're well insulated, even completely packed they're still easy to open (it takes a little doing to close them back but they've been getting it done haha). I particularly love the separated section in the lid where I can store the ice pack and utensils; this is a great use of space. We haven't suffered any leaks so far but that could just be because the lunch boxes haven't yet leaked into the kits. Definitely worth the money.

This lunch bag is roomy enough to keep a large ice pack in the top held by mesh, and four small ice packs on the bottom. That keeps things cold for 10-12 hours indoors in the winter, or in an air conditioned room in the summer. I can fit a medium size round container with chicken and veggie salad, a large orange segmented in a bag, two bags of buttered rye crackers cut into bite size pieces, two bags of cookies, a stick of mozzarella string cheese, a bag off cherry tomatoes, a bag of raisins and carob chips, and a small container of canned peaches or box of juice. That is enough food for two light meals plus snacks, on a long day. I have never had a leak so I do not know about leak proof. The front pouch is perfect for silverware and napkins, etc. The lunchbox is well made and seems very durable. Zippers open and close smoothly. I was happy enough with this lunchbox to buy a second one.
