ScotchgardSun and Water Shield, Repels Water, 10.5 Ounces

This scotchgard worked well on our outdoor clothe swing set. Repels water very good.Will buy again. Good product, works like it should. This is another honest review of mine.

I used Scotchgard Sun and Water Shield on my outdoor cushions, and it worked great! I didn’t use it on my umbrella, but one can easily covered 7 large cushions with a little left to spare. Water now just beads right off the fabric, and it helps protect against sun damage too. The spray goes on evenly and doesn’t leave any weird residue or smell after drying. I recommend using it in a well-ventilated area though, since the fumes can be strong during application. This stuff is a must-have if you want to protect your outdoor cushions or furniture. I’ll definitely be using it again!

Easy to apply and helps with the fading. My mistake was I didn’t re apply within a few months and did get some fading but that’s my fault

So far so good. Sprayed this on an outside fabric to protect from sun and prolong its use. Easy to use. No smell. Good amount for what we needed.

I had just reupholstered chairs to dinning table .. the chairs look great and this was sprayed on each chair to protect from stains .. works great ! I always use this product to protect furniture .. you never know when something could spill .. you can get it up fast with out damage ...

Sprayed my garden flags with this. It’s doing a great job of repealing water and fading.

I’m bummed. I bought this to use on my mostly white canvas golf bag and leather and pleather headcovers. I’m giving a few starts because it seemed to work well in the pleather items, and to some the degree the leather ones, but when I used it my smaller ‘Sunday Bag’ bag it caused an immediate yellowing on the white part. Fortunately, I had read the instructions first and it said that if this happens to immediately ‘scrub at it’ with rubbing alcohol. (They said wipe, but it took some serious scrubbing and very liberal application of, and repeated drenching of 90 proof rubbing alcohol to get the yellow part back to ‘almost-normal’). I’m making peace with it because I’m VERY glad that I tried it on the smaller bag before my big bag. (The almost all white one). I’m also trying to console my disappointment in the expensive by reminding myself that if I ever where to ‘drop mud’ on any of the covers that the application of this would probably protect them. However, all in all I wish I had just spot wiped/washed things as I may have needed because my experience with this was not what I had hoped. Again, I’m glad that they had instructions on the bottle for what to do if the yellow did happen, but I would have preferred to have realized that it was a possibility before I bought it.
