This is thinner paper making it perfect to use when you need to trace patterns from a page set behind it. Because it is thinner you can't use as much water but otherwise it holds up well for watercolor. I used this paper for teaching a crayon resist watercolor painting activity and it worked perfectly.

I bought this art paper to go with with the Ooly Chunkeys paint markers for my 20 month old granddaughter which she loved. I highly recommend both!

This was well worth it (money value wise). It does bleed with markers but for one sided pictures (with markers) it is amazing. Also, at first, I was concerned it was too thin for watercolors but it amazingly works well (not great as it does wrinkle and curl a bit but better than I expected). Overall, this was a good buy. I will definitely recommend it for coloring pencils, crayons, and markers. For watercolors, a sturdier paper would really be better but if you have nothing else this not the worst.
