Awesome soaker
I have tried every soaker available and finally gave up and put these giant sprinklers up. But that is a lot of water waste if all I needed was 200 feet in a straight line.... until I found these. After reading all the comments I figured that it was absolutely essential to unroll the hose gently and lay it as straight as possible. No kinks or twists. We'll it works perfectly, by now I have 400 feet and I can run them on the same timer faucet! Saves 3 hours of pump running and uses a whole less water!! Win win :)

Great value & excellent time and effort saver!
I purchased this during my first summer season of gardening, when Mississippi experienced a large number of 100+ degree days and a drought. I love that I can connect the garden hose to the soaker hose and go work on another part of the garden while the hoses do all the watering work. At the beginning of the season, after I plant, I lay down several of these hoses to cover the square-footage of all of my garden rows, and I leave the hoses there all spring & summer. I've used several of these hoses for 3 summers now, and although they've faded a little (in color), and one sprung a little leak (which duct tape seemed to fix), their quality and usefulness have held up well in the Mississippi sun & heat.

The best soaker, just bought a third!
Surprised at the negative reviews, this is the best soaker we’ve ever had. I first purchased it years ago and it gave us plenty of seasons before the north Texas sun dried it up. I tried to go cheaper here on Amazon and ended up returning two, trashing one because it busted, and returning another because water barely came out of it. I decided to go ahead and just get this brand again. The quality is unmatched, compared to the cheaper ones I’ve tried on Amazon. Water flow is great. Again, I’m really surprised at the negative reviews because I’ve tried others on here and they don’t even come close to the material and performance of this brand. Just bought a third to go on the other side of my house

Better than rubber
These work a lot better than rubber soaker hoses, with more uniform water distribution and very few leaks. Used them all last summer and didn't notice any problems until right at the end of the season the 75 foot hose developed a couple of spots where the water sprayed instead of dripping . The shorter (50' and 25') hoses were great all the way through. My thought is to use shorter hoses for big areas and either end-to-end connect or use a hose splitter to even out the pressure over the length of the soaker hose.

Very reliable product and very strong material.
In one or two words, EXCELLENT PRODUCT !This hose is 10 times better than my old traditional round soaker hose.I bought the 75' hose so I could lay it down all along the west side of my home.My old hose that I bought from Home Depot lasted one year. It tore several times and it was never a good soaker hose. It sprayed rather than soaking. I had to fit couplings everywhere it tore. I finally got smart and trashed it. What junk. This new hose is flat and made of some type of very strong material resembling a fire hose. It appears to be indestructable. Once I laid it down flat, I used some traditional soaker hose stakes to hold it in place every 5-7 feet.Once I finished this I turned it on full blast. NO SPRAYING, just VERY GOOD solid soaking from one end all the way to the other end with equal pressure at both ends and everywhere along the hose.I am very happy.

Check it often
I don’t usually write negative reviews but feel as though others should be warned against this product. I picked it because it was an amazon recommended product. I bought the 50ft and 75ft version 1 year ago. The 50ft still works fine but the 75ft only works for the first 10 ft! I know it worked great when I first put it in but after the first few uses I never checked it so I don’t know how long this has been going on. All I know is that now I have foundation cracks all over so I went to check it and noticed that it wasn’t working. I’ve tried washing it. There aren’t any leaks or kinks but the water isn’t making it down to the end. There’s one turn but the water was making it past there. I switched the two hoses and got the same result. Anyway, I usually don’t put to much stock in 1 star reviews but I would definitely recommend that you check your hose regularly if you decide to buy.

These things work great
Bought a couple of these (since they can connect together) to go around my house foundation and soften the soil. Love them. Quality, easy to open and get it up and running. No complaints at all.

You get what you pay for
I really wanted this to be a fantastic hose. It looked great. It sounded great. It should have been great. As it is, we nearly returned them twice in the first few weeks we had them. The seam is very cheaply constructed and any time there is a sharp bend in the hose, the seam opens and lets out a tiny fountain spurt of water. This leaves puddles all over the garden and the surrounding mulch. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s not a problem I had with my last soaker hose.I don’t know. It’s a cheap hose that I don’t expect will last too many gardening seasons, but it’s light and easy to move and maneuver and the fact is that my plants are growing happily and I didn’t break the bank.UPDATE: After 2 months, the hoses have sprung multiple leaks, creating huge puddles at the site of the leak and making it almost impossible to get water to the rest of the length of the hose. As of today, all three hoses have been replaced. Unfortunately, as they are outside their return window, I’m now the proud owner of three non-functional hoses.
