Love In Bloom: An Enemies to Lovers Sweet Romantic Comedy (Some Kind of Love)

Walking tour guides enemies to lovers
In the end I loved this book! Why then the 4 stars? I struggled with the start, the enemies fighting, grouchy, constantly mad part. I had trouble wanting to care about characters I didn't know from the series already. It did pick up pretty quickly, and once they got into a prank war with each other it picked up momentum and I was sucked in. I cared enough about the characters from previous books that I was willing to push through, and in the end I'm glad I did.

Creepy Clowns and Ghosts, Oh My!
This was cute and funny with just the right amount of heat (no open door sex - yay!) and serious subject matter. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Proctor's books in the future.

A fun RomCom
I'm not good at reviews but, I liked the characters, I liked the story, the conflicts and the growing affection between two main characters. If you like laughing and happy endings then this book is definitely one you should read.

I adored this book!
Cameron Hunter has rubbed Darcy Marino the wrong way since the day they met, and now that the rival tour guides are up for the same magazine feature, it seems unlikely that their relationship will improve. Cameron hopes that publicity from the article will allow him to expand his business and further his goal of sharing local history in a fun and entertaining way. He could also use the extra money to help his father with outstanding medical bills. Darcy, meanwhile, hopes that expanding her tour business will give her the cash flow to pursue her true passion, urban landscape architecture. She wants to design and install things like the famous window boxes featured on the historic homes and businesses of downtown Charleston, but to do that, she must find a way to pay for a booth at an upcoming flower show to showcase her design ideas for potential clients. As Cameron and Darcy's rivalry heats up, other passions are brought to the surface, and they start to realize that they may have misjudged each other. Can they move past their rivalry and forge a new path forward, together?I loved Cameron and Darcy's story so much! Their banter was a ton of fun and had me laughing more than once (as did their prank war), but the story was also surprisingly emotional at times, mainly due to Cameron's family situation. He definitely wasn't who he seemed to be at first, though he had good reasons for hiding his true self. It made me so happy when Cameron finally let his guard down with Darcy and realized that he could trust her to like and care for the real him.Overall, I completely adored this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story. I highly recommend "Love in Bloom" for all sweet contemporary and romantic comedy fans. I am very much looking forward to the author's next book.

Really adorable and awesome novel.
I really enjoyed this book. It is the perfect way of how enemies to lovers should be execute it. Darcy and Cameron are such a wonderful couple together. Their chemistry is all sizzling and so cute.Darcy is an amazing character. I love how she just cares for everyone. She honestly is a golden retriever without being a pushover. Another thing I loved about her was that she really wanted a relationship with Cameron but she also stood her ground. Cameron is so freaking sweet. I love how he cares about Darcy. You know that he is in love with her but because he is so private he just puts up such a front that he can kind of turn people off.The romance is amazing. I just loved it so much. It was sizzling and so sweet. But what I loved about it was how important the family connection is. The issues between each of the characters and dealing with the past issues of their family really shaped how they view romantic relationships and I love how in each of the characters they had to do the work.I also love the setting of this book. The history is so well done and so accurate. I love how each of the characters are so passion about their respective carriers and the fact that the history of Charleston is so heavy live feature is amazing.I love this book so much. I should just shut up because I can’t stop rambling about how awesome it is.

All the feels
I love the story of Cameron and Darcy. There’s a back and forth in their story that is so good and the story is fast paced. It’s a clean, quick read. You wont be disappointed

A fun, lighthearted read
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I enjoyed it a lot. It’s a fun, lighthearted read but with some darkness underneath as we learn about Cameron’s reasons for being…Cameron. Loved how she handled the mental health side of trauma, which is sometimes avoided by other authors. It was done in a light hearted but respectful way. Both characters were developed well and the chemistry was natural. If I had to say anything negative it’s that I never felt like Cameron and Darcy were ever at risk of falling apart. The black moment is usually that moment when you worry the hero and heroine won’t make it. I never felt that, I knew from the get go they’d be fine. But you know what? I don’t even think that’s a negative. It’s a breath of fresh air. Their are so many so-called rules around writing and I love when they’re broken. To me it was a perfectly paced book with a good amount of conflict and I liked how the characters evolved.I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was butterflies in my tummy kinda cute.
This was butterflies in my tummy kinda cute. All the romance tropes are my favorites: workplace nemesis, cute banter, and slow burn.Darcy is a tour guide. Cam is also a tour guide. And they don't really like each other. Or do they?In between their jobs and families and life in general, Darcy and Cam are figuring out their true feelings for each other. And it was super cute.Apparently, it's the 4th book in a series and a few characters from the previous books appear here and there. But it's a standalone book.I absolutely enjoyed it!This is one of those books, you miss the characters after finishing the book.
