Heavy sleet took it's toll on the bags but I only have them out for Christmas Eve (tradition). Served their purpose.

We illuminated a long pathway with these and they were attractive and served our purpose well! That is why I gave them 4 stars. But, they are VERY sensitive to dampness and even though it was a dry night and we live in a city and state with very little humidity, they were damp and warping after 1.5 hours. They are a one-time use item. I wouldn't recommend them if you care about them staying taut throughout the evening or if you live where there is humidity. If you don't care about that, they are great.

These bags were so pretty and totally suited our needs. We read of some different options for lighting and decided to go with very bright yellow glowsticks which worked great! We put two each in these bags and they burned all night. Even after getting drenched by thunderstorms these bags (while wet) didn't deteriorate like some others we had.Unrelated directly to the bags we didn't want to put sand or litter in for weight but we read how people put canned food which sounded like a great idea! We went with tubs of play-doh which we got for cheap and then let the kids keep afterwards.

These luminary bags are well made, sturdy and with design on ALL 4 sides. We added 1-2 inches of kitty litter for stability. We put them across the front porch and down the walk way to the driveway. One battery operated tea light was adequate to provide the desired flickering light! It was really a nice touch to add to our Christmas Eve celebration. Thanks.

I bought a bag of play sand and 20 candles from the dollar tree. Filled each bag and set them out on Christmas Eve as luminaries. I used to use empty milk gallons. I am in SE Michigan and lucked out that it did not rain or snow. They are still lit 12 hours later. So beautiful.

I didn't expect these to be that good. I bought a bunch for my wedding and I must say that I was utterly thrilled with these! Everything was in tact upon delivery as well.

Great price for a nice product. We bought these for a wedding, and the paper bags glow beautifully and softly with a very pretty starburst pattern. I was initially worried about the weight of the paper, but with sand in the bottom they held up nicely. Very pleased.

It was foggy and drippy (but not raining hard) when we put these out on Christmas Eve this year. I used an LED flicker tea light inside a zipped snack bag in each bag along with a fist-sized rock. They looked great! The next morning, I took the rocks out and gently brought the bags inside to dry out before folding them back up and putting them away for next year. Well worth the investment!
