Works fine
All good… the only thing is that is kinda expensive for what it actually is.

Expensive for kit that doesn't allow constant recording in park
This kit was bought to allow testing of the Fitcamx before actually installing in a car.As other reviewers mentioned, there is no instructions included with the kit. To get any information on this kit, visiting the vendor website is necessary. Even then, the instructions aren't that great. The kit comes with four pair of fuse taps, listing on Amazon have them for $10 to $15. What the instructions on the vendor does not note is which of the tips on each tap is going to the battery and which is going to the camera. This means you either have to do a trial and error, or grab a DMM to ohm out the connection. The kit work by providing an ACC, BAT+, and GND point. To get the Fitcamx power on, the ACC and BAT+ must be provided with 12V. Which is kind of weird. Logically speaking, if the ACC is what indicates the car is on or off, that means just providing power to ACC should turn on the Fixcamx. Conversely, since the BAT+ is suppose to provide power when the car is off, logic dictates providing power to it should allow the parking mode to work. But that is not the case. To get the Fitcamx power on, the ACC and BAT+ must be provided with 12V. To enable the parking mode, power has to provide to ACC and BAT+, then remove power from ACC.The parking mode does work as advertise. After enabling it in the Fitcamx app, putting it into parking mode, finally tapping the camera, it did start recording. To provide the 12V for this testing, just grab any of the adjustable AC power supply that can be set to 12V with a provided POSITIVE and NEGATIVE breakout connector. The one used for this testing is a Belker 45W model bought from Amazon.

Too short
For my 5th gen Ram 2500, it was too short, I had to splice about 2.5 feet of extra wiring to make it long enough to reach the camera from the fuse box in the engine bay.

Easy install. Everything you need for a hardwire installation
While the price of the install kit is on the high side, it includes everything you need for a fast, convenient install.Having the Add a Fuse taps already attached, makes it really easy to connect to your fuse box. Since there are three different style options (6 taps), probably adds unnecessary cost (as you will use only one style.Adding a hardwire kit instead of using the supplied Y-adapter mirror tap, simplifies the camera install and provides parking mode options. So overall, while a little expensive, its worth getting.

It works. But no instructions and is expensive!
I recently bought the Fitcamx for my car and wanted to have the "parking collision" feature enabled, so I got this wiring kit. It certainly works as it should, I was able to tap into the appropriate fuse locations in my car's fuse box to get everything to work. The kit includes a variety of adapters, so the user can use the ones that are appropriate to their vehicle and toss the rest. One thing I thought was odd - there are NO instructions included in the kit box at all, so if you're not experienced at installing thing like these, you might/will be at a loss as to how to do it (I've worked on cars for 50+ years and have a volt-ohmmeter, so it was a piece of cake for me) and like them, I recommend you hire an experienced person do the install. You should also know that using this kit means you do NOT use the mirror's auto-dimming connector for power, which also means you do NOT need a car that comes with an auto-dimming mirror for the camera's installation! This information should be spelled out in the listings for both the camera and this kit. And yes, it's expensive, given its material content. But they do include multiple fuse box connectors, which I suppose makes up a significant portion of the cost.
