ARTEZA Hand Lettering Pens Set of 12 – Calligraphy and Brush Pens with Guidebook, Pencil, Eraser for Beginners Learning Hand Lettering and Decorative Writing

When my Arteza beginner hand lettering set arrived, the box had been damaged and two of the pens had leaked. This normally would cause a bad review, but I give Arteza lettering kit 5 stars because when I contacted the seller they were very helpful and sent out a new set immediately. When I received the new pens I found they were very good quality and the little guide book had me creating beautiful letters in no time. The lettering practice guide was especially helpful. I would recommend this product.

My daughter’s been excited about this for quite some time and has been practicing fairly regularly and loves how easy it is to use and watches quite a bit of YouTube video tutorials as well

This product is a good value. A starter set which will guide me to a more advanced set of markers.

Granddaughter is very artistic. This allows her to ‘perfect’ her talent in a very hands-on way!

Great starter set

If you are considering purchasing this set because you expected to not only get the pens but also get a full guide as well. I'll have to let you know that you will be disappointed. Yes I got the pens, but the guide is only small pamphlet. Highly misleading since the pictures being use for marketing demonstrate sheets of paper for practice, eluding that this was a full instructional set. Pens looks nice tho...

Absolutely perfect for my granddaughter!

This is a nice beginner calligraphy set. It includes a little booklet about lettering that is almost useless. Beginning calligraphy students will want a better guide to alphabets. The set also does not include paper. Amazon sells nice, reasonably priced "Calligraphy Writing Paper" that would be great with this set. The set also includes a pencil but the pencil is not sharpened and there is no pencil sharpener. With the addition of some calligraphy practice paper, some sample alphabets, and a pencil sharpener this would make a nice gift for the beginning calligrapher. There is no indication on the packaging that the ink is waterproof once dry. As a watercolor painter I will want to test that before using these pens on paintings. I have enclosed one photograph showing some samples on calligraphy practice paper. I am not skilled at calligraphy, as you can probably tell! I do enjoy calligraphy though, and calligraphy practice can be very meditative and enjoyable. It saddened me when schools stopped teaching handwriting. I hope that many people will continue to enjoy calligraphy and handwriting, which has such a sense of flow and is so beautiful!
