This was probably the worse product I have ever purchased on Amazon. The rubber on the tire tears up this cheap cushion material. It ripped apart while I was applying tire shine on the 1st tire, 1st TIRE.

I clean a lot of cars and I've tried several of the cheap auto store type of applicator pads. Out of frustration I was looking for something that wasn't a "one and done" type of applicator. This is by far the best I have found yet. Even on those hard, knobby truck tires!! I've dressed a dozen or more cars with this thing and it's just now showing wear....those cheap ones may have lasted less than half that. Very impressed with this product. Will be purchasing more!

You really have to saturate it with the tire gel and then it starts to work well. Initially, application of tire gel is weak until the sponge becomes soaked with the gel. Can be a little messy with your hands, so gloves would be recommended. Sponge has been durable and does not break up during use. After a dozen or so uses, sponge still appears new.

This is an excellent product. Not sure why others are complaining about the quality. I was using the Carrand 92143 applicators and those are fine, especially for sedan tires,but I found that they didn't last me that long before wearing away. I bought this one about six months ago. I dress my tires weekly. My tires are SUV tires and I am applying Chemical Guys Natural Shine Satin dressing. Works great for me. I even bought a second one for when this one wears out, but so far still going strong.

Simple product that works. Only used a few times but results were great. Can’t speak to durability since only used a few times. Used with Tire Gel and Tire Hot Shine spray and very happy with results. It worked great and left an even quality shine. The grooves work to hold the gel when applying. Would buy again.

After a few seconds use the foam started to shred and leave pieces on garage floor. Had to shop-vac it up after. One would hope it would be more durable since it is designed after all to rub on side of tires and they do have raised lettering... so go figure.

Its a pretty good tire dressing applicator sponge. Its is a little softer than I had imagined and you have to soak the sponge with the tire dressing for it to apply the dressing uniformly on the tire. It works well though and at such a low price its worth it. Its better that it isn't glued to a plastic handle so there isn't anywhere for it to separate and become useless. I've had many other tire applicators do this after only several uses.

I use Meguiar's Tire Gel and this applicator, being as soft and porous as it is, soaks it right up; becoming slimey and dirty so I have to wear gloves. This means less product on the tire.It is plyable though, so it's much easier to get in the grooves next to the wheel.

Nothing much to say beyond that it does what it's supposed to do. Feels a tad flimsy but it actually helps mould it to the tire and ensures even application. For the cost, it's great.
