I gave this product 2 stars a few days ago because one of the 3 sets I ordered did not have the spikes. The next day I received a full refund for that set. We are using them in the yard and they are great!!

I'm using these for tennis court water sweepers. Although the sweepers have swivel threaded attachments for the hose threads, the time and effort to couple and uncouple them seemed like a waste. I knew thist type of product existed so I tried them out. After threading into the sweepers and the end of the hose, the coupling onlt takes a moment to engage/disengage and is perfectly watertight. For a relatively inexpensive item, these have proven to be very valuable. They changed a fiddly process into a convenience.Definitely well made, functional and time saving.

I purchased 2 of these sprinklers. One will not hold its settings to sprinkle. I set it to the area i wanted run it four 15 minutes and it spraying against the house.

Please do not buy. These are very cheaply made. (Background- I have a lot of experience with my previous impulse sprinkler that I have been using for 30 years. It was made well but the stake eventually snapped after many seasons of use.). Now back to the one from Amazon- It came in a box as a pair and you have to fasten the stake on to the brass sprinkler. Many problems. 1. You have to use plumbers tape and even with properly wrapping the threads it still leaked. 2. The stops move. For example, I had it set to do 1/3 of the yard (think of slicing a pie in 3 parts) but the stops moved to nearly doing a 360 degree circle. 3. The stake is narrow so it couldn't grip the ground properly. 4. It would pulse and the stream was strong but the first 10' lacked sufficient water because all of the water was going to the last 10' (meaning it was mostly going to the perimeter). I didn't have a good spray pattern. I returned to Amazon and found one at Lowe's for about $25. Here's the name of it- Orbit 6200-sq ft Impulse Spike Lawn Sprinkler. I love the new one from Orbit. It's total quality!!!

I was expecting a so so sprinkler to get me through the rest of this horrible heat dome in Texas. What I got was a well made, heavy duty sprinkler that’s better than any I’ve ever purchased in a store. $25 for 2 of them was a great deal!!
