Did not fit correctly on 2011 Outback 2.5l limited
The starter is a few inches longer on the part the goes into engine, where it makes contact with the flywheel, so cars turns on but the starter is always engaged with the flywheel. Since we needed the car fixed asap I switched out the solenoids which are identical, now I have a brand new stater motor that does it fit on my vehicle. Will probably have to take both starters apart to make one that fits.

Sounded like I had summoned demons from Hades. It stayed engaged as long as the key was on. I sent it back and received full credit.

Incorrect Part for 2013 Outback
I just received the new starter and just a side by side comparison, the startertooth housing was longer. Ended up going to my neighborhood auto parts and paid more but it was correct. And when I conducted the Amzn return, I did get the full amount paid. So, proceed with caution.
