I do my own nails and love to occasionally bling it up and put stones on ...
I paced the floors to get this in my hand but only because I ordered at the beginning of July and the constant heat wave we've been in, I was worried if I didn't get the pencil out of my mailbox in time I'd have a mess of melted white wax everywhere. That being said, it arrived unharmed and a few days before the expected delivery date. This is a fabulous pencil and I'm kicking myself for not getting one earlier, I do my own nails and love to occasionally bling it up and put stones on them. The pencil picks up the stones without too much fuss but it does take a little bit of practice to get the right pressure; too much and you get a slight residue on the stone, too little and it drops it. One reviewer says it works great if you tap the stone, I'm inclined to agree with them; it's a lot like tapping your pen on your desk when you're anxious or out of habit. Practice, however, makes perfect. My only issue is the speed of delivery but I won't fault the company for that; I did order it from China and it will take time to get to me if I do that. It also stands to reason that I ordered it at the beginning of the hottest month on record so my worry about the delivery is slightly null and void; had I ordered this in a cooler month, I wouldn't have worried so much.

Item just as pictured, Does what it's supposed to do.
I don't know why people give this pencil bad reviews. I received the exact item in the photo. Yes it took a while to receive (ordered Jan 6 received today Jan 28th) but that's what happens when you order items shipped from overseas. It says so when you order the item. My pencil was in perfect condition (not broken) and came sharpened. At first I thought I had been sent the wrong item. This pencil looks like one used by seamstresses or dressmakers to mark on textiles. I tested it out on some tiny nail art embellishments I also recently received since my rhinestones aren't here yet. All that is needed for the pencil to work right out of the package is to rub the end on something like stiff paper, it ruffs it up a bit to expose the softer wax underneath. So, then I spilled out some of my metallic nail art decos, it picked up although I had to vary the pressure or slide it along the top on some to pick them up. None dropped off though. I placed them on my dry nails, some I had to give a little wiggle to release the pencil but it does what its supposed to do, pick up tiny nail decos for placement on your nails.

Broken, but still usable
I did receive a pencil like the one pictured, however, it came broken into 3 pieces. I can look past that considering the price. I will just use what's left of the pencil. The "wax" is a bit hard and doesn't want to pick anything up initially. It did help for me to scrape the outer coating off and expose the middle of the wax. It held the rhinestones a little better once I did that. Not a great product as far as delivery, but for less than a dollar, still worth it to me since picking one up locally would probably be half the size for double the price.

My money and time! WASTED!
I ordered this pencil on April 1st and it arrived 4 weeks later. It was packaged in an envelope for some unknown reason. It's a pencil guys, it's going to break. And guess what? It did. Snapped right in half in transit. I opened it up and half of a pencil came out. I had to go digging for the other half. I sharpened one of the stubs anyway just to see how it would work... and it doesn't. Greatest waste of $1 and time ever. Hilarious!Lesson #25: Listen to the bad reviews when determining if this is a decent product or not. It's not. Don't waste your 4 weeks and precious 68 pennies. Go to the dollar store. One plus: There are pretty gold characters (similar to Mandarin Chinese? No idea.) along the side of the pencil.

"THEY DO THE JOB"
Rhinestones can be tedious to sort though ,apply on a painted nail ,or just pick up after accidentally knocking them over .This white eyeliner looking pencil takes care of all that. I have used other items claiming to do the same ,but they were unsuccessful, even those rhinestone tweezers. This is easy .It is just like using a pencil.Easy to hold ,no gripping or grasping ,hoping not to drop the rhinestone .They stick to the white end without any sticky or tacky feeling left on the stone or y our fingers. You get two that come in a vinyl pouch. These pencils are getting 4 stars from me and not 5 only because, maybe I'm just being picky but I would like for them to have come with their own sharpener.I had an eyebrow pencil sharpener that works great .When they are used to when they cannot be sharpened any more ,I will purchase them again, and would recommend them. THANK YOU FOR READING ,BYE.

Great quality product, and it came super early!
This is a great thing to have for all of your Rhinestone needs. I personally use this to put rhinestones on my fingernails when I am getting all kinds of creative. The wax holds the rhinestone perfectly while you are trying to place it.I like the weight of the pencil itself it is like you don't even know that it is in your hand. It is of perfect size to keep ahold of while you are doing anything with it.The pencil is very easy to sharpen. I thought that it would be a little harder since it was a wax base instead of a lead base but it was as easy as sharpening a lead based pencil. The color of the stick that I got was while and that it so that you can see each rhinestone against the white color. All in all this is a great quality product and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Wax Pencil for Rhinestones
This item arrived before estimated delivery date. When I read the reviews I wasn't all that excited about it. At the time it was only $0.46 with free shipping, so I thought why not? It is like a color pencil, same length & all. Only it doesn't color because it's wax. You are only to sharpen until it is dull, not pointy. I recently ordered a kit with 2mm rhine stones & the wax pencil picks them up perfectly!Another great tool I would suggest if the wax pencil does not work for you, is the curved tweezers. My kit came with a pair & it picks them up so easily as well! This pencil is a great buy for nail stones. & the price is affordable!
