Schwinn Expanded Bicycle Handlebar Bag

I was not expecting a lot for this low price, but was pleased when it came, with what it was! Lots of room, stiff plastice bottom liner to hold shape, 2 zippered pockets and an outside stretchy pouch. I ordered 2, one for my wife and one for myself and we really like them. Small quibbles only: the map sleeve is in an odd position for reading while on the bike; the placement or spacing of the velcro straps (especially the one to go around the vertical) are placed without a way to move them so the bag either rtides very low and vertical or high and tilts forward. Not really a problem if the top is zipped shut, and the position will vary with handlebar style. My bike as straight handle bars and the bag rides higher and more up and down, my wife's bar is curved (not racerlike) and the bag tils downward.

The only complaint that I have about this bag is that the zippers seem a little flimsy. As far as space is concerned though, there is tons of room in this bag. I purchased it to put on my rental bike in Denver and rode all over the city with my lunch, a small digital camera, a jacket and a few other items in it. It goes on and off the handlebar in seconds and having the shoulder strap on it allowed me to use it as a carry on bag.

It leans forward when it has anything even a little heavy - especially with drop handlebars it gets too close to the tire. If you only want to carry lightweight things like a rain jacket and a wallet it might work, but if you need to put more in it it won't. Probably better off going with a smaller or more structured bag.I also found that because of the placement where it connects to the bike it leans to the side if the weight in it is uneven. I had to use one hand to keep it out of the way of the braking components.

I really like this bag. It's very roomy. The only thing I would change is moving the top velcro straps a little higher and shortening the length.

I love this bike bag. I have used it a few times now and I can fit everything I need in it. I usually carry 2 17 0z (tall) water bottles horizontally, bike chain, keys, phone, sunscreen and a couple granola bars. It has retained its shape and has not touched my front tire.

Very large bag. I had to figure a new way to attach it to my bike since the velcro on the straps isnt long enough to actually be usable on my handlebars. It does not sit up on the handlebars and putting anything more than a few pounds in the bag makes it lean forward or sag quite a bit.

I tried a few bags that were detachable but they always loosened up on the handlebar. i wanted a bag that would hold my uniform (pants and 2 shirts) and this one did. It fits on the handlebar pretty good but since it is fairly big you do need a little more clearance. i'm very happy with it.

el tamaño para el manubrio esta perfecto la tela si es de 600d es guesa va a guntar bien el sol y la lluvia,le quite una estrella por que solo trae velcro para ajustar y eso hace que se vea caida, pero la voy a mejorar poniendole una tira de aluminio para que se mantenga derecha, si tu anuebrio es recto creo que le va muy bien y apludo el costo muy bajo cuando compre y la calidad solo espero que si dure y no se descosa.

Great bag, great size.You can fit a big bottle of water in there + your sunglasses, sunscreen, a snack and your light rain jacket, love that.Don't like the fact that it is attached to the bike with 3 Velcro straps which are a bit fiddely to put on or take off, no an easy take it with you thing.If they could change that, that would be 5 stars.It is a bit big, but my bike has a high handle bar and it fits well and has an inner liner (hard shell)

So this time We went with the Schwinn bags. I have to say they are larger then we thought when looking at the picture. it's a good thing as my wife loves to carry her purse in the front bag. I get to carry the lunch we pack for our bicycle ride enjoyment. Its to early to say this item is very good in the long haul as we just got them. I do hope that they last longer then our previous ones it gets expensive always having to replace the bags.

Used it on my bike in summer. Now in winter I still use it with long strap over my shoulder. Decent quality for money and is holding up good with everyday use.Only dislike is the way it fastens to handle bars. Takes too long to attach and take off.

Perfect. Has a hard bottom shell and a good size to fit some things I need for work! Definitely a better alternative to a bike basket!
