Will this continue to be lint free if used damp on a hot cast iron pan?

Yes, 100% cotton t shirt cloth is perfect to season a pan out of the oven and will remain lint free. Please make sure that the pan is clean and not rusty. Can you use this with leather conditioner for leather bags?

they are cotton cloths, so why not. I used them on doing my leather spray for my car seats and worked great. They are thin so fold for thickness and to protect your hands if not using gloves. I wear gloves with any cleaning stuff.

Are they good for cleaning hardwood floors?

They wouldn't harm the floor, but it would depend on the cleaning product you're using. However, I wouldn't recommend them alone, and it would require getting on hands and knees. I would recommend Bona hardwood floor cleaner with a Bona mop.
