If you can see by the amount of stars I gave this product, you'd see I rated it a 5 and I'll tell you why. I have tried quite a few garbage order eliminators and have been greatly disappointed but I can honestly say, NONE of them compares to this one! Before receiving this item, I would brace myself to receive the most unpleasant garbage odors then spray the area with Lysol to dissolve them. With this item, the usage of Lysol is literally a thing of the past!!!!!!!! The charcoal REALLY works!!!! And the greatest thing about this is you can re-activate the filter by placing in the sun, its a money saver, comes with a holder for the filter, durable, eco-friendly, and sustainable!!!What more can you want? LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND YOU WILL TOO!!!

(Update as of 5/7/25): Seller replied back kindly and said they were very sorry that product didn't meet my expectations and they would be more than happy to do a Full Refund- which they did PROMPTLY after the reply. I appreciated it, however I will not be using their products again in the future.Unfortunately this product has not worked as we had expected it to based on description. We caregive for my bedridden mom and have a 13 gal garbage pail that we use as her "waste" receptacle after BM & urine filled diapers and the bin smells as if we never placed the "trash ninja" in it. Its been in it since 4/14 & we even tried the "troubleshoot options" too w/ no change :(

Does not stick to my trash can. I tried cleaning the surface before sticking and nothing. This is too big and heavy to have such a small area with double sided tape. Will have to look for another solution.

This certainly doesn't eliminate all of the trash odor in our kitchen trash bin. But it does put up a decent fight. I'd say that it mitigates summer trash bin smell down to autumn / spring levels.

Makes 100% difference with the smell when the lid opens. Very impressive

While it worked to keep odors at bay for the week it stayed attached to lid. When it was shaken by garage truck arm it fell off. No biggie I had the other one that came in package. Unfortunately, with the second one the red piece you peel off the adhesive wouldn’t come off and ended up ripping off the adhesive off the cage which rendered the second one useless! Will not buy again!
