These classic teabag holders are versatile and just what I expected. No they're not especially sturdy, and you have to fiddle to get it closed, but that's just part of the ceremony of proper tea drinking. Two are included so you'll always have one for your friend. Recommended!

for those people writing that the ball doesn't close properly and the tea leaks out, do you have the hole and pin at the opposite of the hinge mated? I noticed mine didn't close properly either, gapped opposite of the slide clasp that closes the ball. well look opposite of the hinge and you will find a small pin sticking up on one half of the ball and a hole in the other half of the ball, when you close the ball, before sliding the locking mechanism, make sure the pin is sticking through the hole.

Works great with loose tea. Be careful to close it properly to avoid floaters. Good, solid product made from stainless steel.

These tea infuser balls are excellent quality and work perfectly for loose leaf tea. The stainless steel mesh is fine enough to keep leaves contained while still allowing full flavor to steep through. I really wanted to like this steel mesh tea ball, but after using it for about 8 months, it’s already falling apart. The build quality just isn’t there. A small chain‑link piece actually came loose and ended up in my tea, which was a huge red flag. If I hadn’t noticed it, it could have easily been ingested. That alone makes it far from kid‑friendly. I also found that some loose tea slips through the seams every now and then where the two halves meet, so sometimes you don’t even get a clean brew. Between the durability issues and the design flaws, I’m already having to replace it. My takeaway: it’s worth spending a little more on a better‑made infuser that doesn’t have tiny parts that can break off. I’ll be avoiding tea balls with small chains altogether going forward...there’s too much potential for a choking hazard if a piece comes loose and ends up in someone’s cup. Maybe I'll try one with a squeeze handle or the OXO twist version.

It's not my favorite tea balls. The tea comes through the wholes if it is small crushed lose tea.

I drink a lot of tea and wanted something reusable. I was using disposable refillable tea bags before and I was worried about my environmental effect as well as the cost. I checked these out and the reviews were hot and cold. So I took a shot. Ive had them now for over a month and use them daily for about five cups of tea a day so a decent amount of use. The balls are light mesh so they bend a little, but it doesnt effect use. They hold about a tablespoon of tea. Ive only hand washed them, so no idea if they hold up in a dishwasher. The clasp can be annoying because you have to line a little prong into the hole and then swing the clasp over to secure it. Sometimes it doesnt want to go in but you wiggle it and its fine. The hook that goes over the edge of the cup and chain is fairly sturdy. If you have thick walled mugs, you might need to bend it a little bit to fit, but so far most cups it has fit. Realistically, I can't complain. These are cheap, easy to clean, hold a decent amount, fairly sturdy, and they work well. I would buy again when these wear out. For the price, they are totally worth it. Cheaper than the disposable bags.

These tea strainer balls do a terrific job of keeping loose tea inside allowing you to drink without particles floating in your cup. Receiving x2 of them is really handy and great value for money. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend 🫶
