This is a pretty good basic A5 planner for the money. It is a plastic over cardboard cover with a six ring A5 binder clip.I make my own inserts, so I can't speak for the ones sold with it. Plenty of people have A5 .pdf files online you can print out on standard A5 paper. This is one of the greatest strengths of the ISO 216 A0 paper sizes. You aren't forced to purchase special paper with special hole patterns from anyone, so using it is cheap. If you buy a standard 6 hole punch you can even purchase A4 paper reams and cut sheets in half if you don't want to order the standard A5 sheets. Over time you can remove your notes and archive them in another binder and have them for use later.The card slots are not very sturdy, but if someone in a business meeting or your appliance repairman hands you their card you can slide it in for temp storage. You can slot in a couple of your own if you are out and about.This is a good salt of the earth working class, artisan's or tradesman's planner, the sort of thing to keep in the truck, but if you are going for a high class lawyer, doctor, professional's image than get something leather and stylish.Oh, and the pen loop fits a Zebra M402, or Bic ballpoint, or #2 pencil fitted with a pocket clip fine. I don't know what kind of pen these other folks are using, maybe one of those Papermate Jotters or one of the other thick pens?

This looks and feels really nice. It does not come with any paper inside so just be aware of that. It is hard to find paper and protective sheets that fit this 6 hole binder. I want to buying a hole punch and I just make extra holes where I need to. All in all I really do like this little organizer

While the Notebook is not leather but rather fake leather, it still feels quite good and its not that easy to tell its fake leather, only a trained eye could catch that in a glimpse.Its well built, fairly solid, and the magnet clip works well. The pen holster interferes with the paper if you have tabs so do be aware of that.I can confirm that this leather notebook is 100% compatible with Filofax A5 prepunched paper, as I purposely bought Filofax branded paper instead of what this seller provides through their store to test it, and it works.Highly recommended

Just got it today. It’s honestly one of the best planners I’ve ever owned. It’s quality and I love how you can refill the paper, it’ll last for years. I love how on the “today” section it had an AM and PM area to divide up your tasks for the day. I just love it overall and I showed it to my sister and she wants one for XMAS now which I will be getting her. Thanks amazon !!!!

Bought this to make a bullet journal. I love it! It is very high quality and durable. The size is perfect for letter size paper folded in half, which was what I was using. The cover is smooth and I love the shade of blue. The magnetic closure worked really well. Highly recommend. It is a very elegant binder.

I love this, when I ordered it I didn't realize it wasn't year specific. This is so versatile and fits my book beautifully. I can make notes on dates, daily, weekly or monthly. The address book part of it is well set up for just about needs you might have.

So far, I love this booklet. I still need to commit to a way to bookmark the page I’m on, but I love that I can just refill the pages when they’re used up. (I use this as a workbook to keep track of client services on a daily basis, so it fills up fast.) the pen holder on the side means I’m not constantly losing my pen. The pocket on the inside of the cover is handy for setting aside papers if I need to. The closure is easy to use and isn’t flimsy. So happy I invested in this notebook!
