I recently purchased the microphone I had my eyes on, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! This Boya Shotgun mic is great because it can be powered by a single AA battery if no phantom power is available. The sound coming from it meets my expectations and then some. I have it connected to a Hollyland wireless mic system and just works. Just wish the storage bag was big enough to hold the shock mount too.

Shotguns have come a long way. This is a senn 415 knockoff for 1/4 the price.

Es bueno bastante sencible toma mucho el sonido ambiente y sobre todo toma mucho el efecto que da el espacio donde estés generando una especie de reber, no lo he probado en exteriores, será tema de configurar bien la grabadora de audio, sus materiales son buenos, el estuche para guardarlo también, tan solo un poco endeble el soporte hay que tener cuidado no es muy robusto pero funciona

I got this to use with my BOYA DM-500 Podcasting mic and it works perfectly. Boya makes good stuff, I don't know if they actually manufactured this or just put their name on it. Regardless it is good quality and the mic sounds great through my interface. The 3ft length is perfect so there isn't a lot of excess cable on my desktop.

This is my first gun mic, but it surprised me. Firstly, the housing is not plastic, it is aluminum. The aluminum casing is highly shielded, effectively blocking electromagnetic interference and making the recorded sound much cleaner. In addition, it has a low-cut filter function, which cuts out the bottom noise and is indicated by an indicator. Importantly, the microphone has 2 types of power supply. One is powered by the connected device and the other is by battery. I was surprised by the battery power, as it is a good choice for shooting long hours of outdoor videos. There are probably some features that I haven't discovered yet, as I just got this mic. I like the microphone so far.

You get what you pay for. I knew going in, it probably wasn’t gonna be that great and I was correct. My on camera mic does a better job.

For the price, this microphone has good audio detection, but the plastic mount is very flimsy and cheaply built. It would seem to break instantly from a heavy impact, while in the field. I would feel more secure using it, if the mount was made of aluminum. I personally despise plastic made parts that compromises the use of products depending on durability for field work. Therefore, because of the low quality mount, I awarded 3 stars only.

I prodotti della BOYA sono fantastici, robusti,affidabili, davvero ben fatti. Questo microfono shot gun e` davvero fantastico, corredo completo di tutto,filtro in spugna, e filtro antivento. Quando realizzo interviste dove non posso usare micorofoni lavalie, per motivi di comdita`, monto il Boya su uno stativo a giraffa e vado alla grande. Ho diversi prodotti di questo Brand e mi sono sempre trovato molto bene. Boya e` sinonimo di qualita` e nel mio Home Studio uso solo prodotti di qualita` come BOYA. Super consigliato
