Had to do a little more digging to set the fail safe, the manual that came with it didn’t have complete steps. Online manual does.Otherwise love it!

I have been an avid Rc enthusiast for over 25 years. I have been into the large scale rc stuff for about 10 years. I have had FG, Harm and Kraken. This buggy caught my eye so I decided to buy it. All I can say is what a mistake it was. First thing after pulling it out of the box, removed receiver battery to charge it. Well it’s lipo and is completely dead. So I sent emails, tried calling to no avail to Horizon Hobby. I ended up buying a new pack from Amazon and the contacted them about what was going on. As always Amazon was awesome and very helpful. They gave me a credit for the price of the battery. So while I was waiting for the new battery, I decided to go over all the nuts and bolts before it’s maiden voyage. Almost every single screw that went into aluminum was loose with no locktite. I read this in forums about these and with my past experience with large scale this is a given to locktite all the screws contacting metal. I got the new pack and tested buggy out. First time out was ok. Second time the steering linkage came apart. Had to wait a few days for new parts. Ultimately found that the threads were stripped out of the steering post. Then after that repair, the clutch came apart. So waited again for parts. Mind you I’m now over $150 in parts on top of purchase price. All this with less that .5 hour run time. So next adventure was while running it around I noticed it would not go straight and front wheel was crooked. Found the left front spindle was broke where the pin goes through. At this point I decided I’m done with it. All of the other brands I have had, FG, Harm and kraken are all a way better choice for starters. As far as the buggy goes, I’m removing all the plastic and converting to a Hpi Hybrid setup. Unless you are willing to pay purchase price plus about another $1k to make it worth while, choose another brand. Let alone you will not be able to get ahold of Horizon Hobby. If it’s Horizon Hobby, like Spektrum, stay away from it. Just my opinion.

Wanted a 1/5 for years but the price put me off. Decided to go with this one as all the 5-ive are all back logged. Came with dead battery but Amazon refunded enough to get two. Really fun and fast even after turning throttle down to lowest setting. Looking for a bigger area to go full out but a great buy for me.

Not worth the money. Had to replace parts already

Mine has had no issues. Some bolts loose but I always re check my rtr. I have sent thing thing 30 feet Losi makes top everythingRunning bartone exhaust and mad max tires awesome Rc
