Rough Rack 4x4 Tool Rack

I didn't know if I'd like this rack as much as the Rubbermaid fast track (which we had in our previous garage) but it surprised me. We didn't have quite as much wall space in our new garage so had to look for something more compact. It holds all our garden tools neatly in a tight area. In 4 feet of wall space we've stored 3 shovels, 3 rakes, an outdoor broom, 2 saws, a large tree pruner, and a hand truck, with plenty of room for more. I think we'll be able to fit the weed whacker and the leaf blower, plus several large extension cords on there too. Amazing! It wasn't difficult to install and is super sturdy. Love it!

Love the rack! It's well made and is so much better than the garden tool organizer that this replaced. It was huge and a mess. This neatly puts everything in a small space up on the garage wall. Other than being a little pricey, I absolutely love it!Tip: If your studs don't quite line up (mine didn't since I mounted it pretty close to another wall and the last stud was closer than 16"), don't bother with the solution they give you - mounting a 2x6 on the wall and then this to it. Just drill another hole in it in the right place. Duh!

Excellent product, compact and works great in my limited space in a small condo garage. I am very pleased and would highly recommend for garage's with limited space. Rack is well made and very solid, the prongs come out 13 inch's from the wall and will hold a ton of tools. I mounted about 12 inch's below the garage door rail. It gave plenty of space to hang larger tools on rack, Garden rakes and snow shovel. I looked at a several before buying this one, I am so glad I purchased this Unit

I installed two of these racks in my garage. They are very sturdy and hold all of my garden tools that can be hung. The rack is a great space saver. It took some effort to line up the rack holes with the wall studs. Also, the height needed to be adjusted so the tool handles did not hit the floor or protruding foundation. I consider it an easy installation, but I have power tools, a stud finder, and experience. The installation may be more difficult for someone who is not tool savvy. I am seriously considering installing a third rack.

I bought three of these and absolutely love them. They hold a lot of tools, lawn equipment, ladders or anything that you want to hang. Could not be happier with the product. Not worried about anything falling off of rack or rack breaking. Extremely strong. Highly recommend.

Build quality and material are excellent and what is needed in a garage application where storing heavy tools is needed. Very easy to install and quality bolts. Great buy at the right price point for what you get.

I was shocked at how heavy it was. But it holds everything put on it. I have a concrete wall so I had to buy tapcon anchors at the store but it comes with large bolt anchors for wood studs. After I installed it I hung off of it for a few seconds. It didn’t bend or come out of the wall. It’s holding all my gardening tools and a couple of folding chairs. I may order a second one to hang some of my kids items from.

This is awesome. We installed the rough rack today. The rough rack freed up so much space in our garage.I ordered another one tonight, I’m excited to get the garage back. We hung many garden tools on it, it’s easy to access all the tools, looks great and heavy duty. Thanks Rough Rack for making a great product.
