Great book

If this product was proof read it would not have gone to print. There are next to no captions against the side profiles of the panzers illustrated, so the reader is left in ignorance regarding their division, regiment, theatre of operations or the time period of the war.If that wasn't bad enough, the profiles stop at the PzKpfw IV Ausf E and leap straight to the Tiger I, Tiger II and Conclusions, then repeat themselves for a second time, thus missing profiles and specs on the PzKpfw IV Ausf G, H & J, plus the PzKpfw V "Panther" Ausf D, A & G.I grudgingly gave two stars simply for the number of panzer profiles and their reasonable quality, but cannot endorse this for purchase. Mine will be going to charity - with an apology!

I bought this on spec based on the authors previous works & the fact it was backed by key publishing,but I was left thoroughly disappointed on receipt by the fact that virtually all of the illustrations have no captions whatsoever explaining what type,the unit & where the tank is from!!! The information on the individual types can be found everywhere else & at £14.99 it's quite hopeless I'm sending it back .For the money look at David porters (no relation) book of the same title by amber,this has pretty much all the armoured vehicles including the captured ones used by the germans (with excellent colour plates) & if you look hard enough you'll get it for half the price.
