Perfect!
I bought these for my mom who spend the last 5 months of her life confined to a bed and couldn't even sit up to watch TV. These glasses enabled her to watch TV and movies and, given her situation, they really helped her quality of life. She would panic if they were ever out of her reach! They are well built and crystal clear. One of the prisms fell out of her first pair, but that's because she slept on them not because they were cheaply made. In fact, they are very well made and I would recommend them for anyone, not just those who are confined to bed.Perhaps most importantly, the prisms are mounted "longways" instead of "shortways" (think landscape versus portrait) so that the wearer gets the maximum viewing area. The prisms are also mounted straight and even. We tried a different (cheaper) brand where the prisms were mounted "shortways" and were maybe not quite straight, which gave me and my mom a headache within a few minutes. These glasses didn't have any sort of adverse effects such as headaches, eye fatigue, etc.

REDDIT SENT ME!
I saw a picture of a guy on reddit laying in bed and using these glasses to play Xbox 360. That gave me the idea to actually go out and buy these glasses. I was impressed at first, but later got tired of using them for gaming. It can give you a headache after a while because the mirrors in the lenses shake really easily.

Vision problems
This product seems well made and sturdy, but when you where the glasses you get double vision like you're cross-eyed. I would really like to try another pair, but the company has not responded to either of my request, so I guess I'll just throw them away.Buyer beware!

TV from bed glasses
I just bought my second pair of Reizen Prism Bed Spectacles and love them. Not only do you get to watch TV with your head completely comfortable but they really work great to. My wife thought I was crazy but kept barrowing my glass that I finally order another pair for her. about the only thing is if you wish to look over at anything else like your spouse is looking through a magazine while you're watching TV and says look at this well your look is 90 degrease down tilt and you have to get the glasses out of the way other than that very happy. PS very sturdy built.

Excellent Product for Readers with Neck Pain
Long have I struggled to find the perfect posture for reading. It often seems that, whatever position one assumes, some limb or another is stressed, tensed, compressed. These glasses expand the possibilities. They are primarily intended for reading in bed, with the book resting on the chest, but I have also used them sitting in an armchair or recliner, head tilted back, book in lap.The design is sturdy, the frame heavier than I expected, and, after a few days of adjustment, the glasses are easy to use. I forget I'm wearing them. At first, there was a slight soreness in the eye muscles, but this quickly dissipated as I became comfortable focusing at the short distance the glasses require. After several days, there was no sense of eye strain or fatigue. Though several other models of prism glasses are available, these are an excellent product for the price. People who do most of their reading on an ebook reader or mobile device will also benefit. The possibility of using the glasses with a laptop also strikes me as intriguing: supine, laptop on chest, wireless keyboard at arm's length.Anyone who is disabled or forced to remain reclined or supine for long periods will especially love these.

coming apart
Not perfect but better than the others I bought to watch TV with head flat on the floor. Still requires a small pad under my head to view TV. One of the square rims around the lens was out when they arrived. Having trouble getting it to stay in place. I may return them but not confident others won't be the same.

Great in theory, but not in practice
I thought these would be great for watching TV while laying down on my back in bed, but every breath I take makes everything the TV image look like it's shaking around - which makes me nauseous. Reading isn't as easy as you would expect for the same reason. Also, objects appear further away than they are, so unless you got an ebook with large letters or a 60+ inch TV, don't waste your money.

Could be better.
Great idea but the execution is not so good. For one thing the image seems a bit "wavy" or slightly distorted and my eyes feel strained. Also I'm distracted by the sight of my own nose at the bottom of the image and I don't have a large nose. If I could get them to perch a little further out that problem could probably be resolved. Maybe I'm too sensitive or picky, but I can only tolerate them for a short period of time and then they come off.
