nippon kodo Kayuragi Incense Sticks - Jasmine, Japanese Quality Incense

Wow! What a scent! I have 3 other incense types from other makers and they all have a unique scent but they also have similarities. This is the first one I've gotten that is truly unique. There's something uplifting and light about the aroma. It has no smoke smell even when first lit. The packaging is incredible. I love the actual carved wood box it comes in. That makes it worth the price alone. And it also comes with a little square rock stand so you don't need to buy a vertical style incense holder which was great since I only have one of the horizontal ones that assume your incense has a wood stick end to it. The only downside is that it doesn't last too long. Maybe 30 minutes. Definitely shorter than all of the other incense I own by half. That said, they give you a lot in the pack, the price is low, quality is high, so I wouldn't mind lighting two in a row if I cared that much about burn time. Overall this is my favorite incense and I love that I can reuse the packaging to store little odds and ends when I'm finished with the pack. I'm looking forward to checking out their other scents.

High quality incense. This burns cleaner than all the other brands I've tried so far. The jasmine scent is very pleasant and not overpowering, though it is stronger than the various wood-scented ones. I like that it comes with the handy little square holder, which is useful if your current incense holder is designed for the kind with the thin stick at one end. These sticks are thicker with scent across the whole length. The cost is in line with the quality, and you get what you pay for. The packaging is high quality too, with a fancy little slide-out wooden box. I'll definitely buy from this brand again.

If you play Love & Deepspace and Dr. Zayne is your main, you NEED to get this incense. It filled my room with light Jasmine scent that I know he would love. It burns quickly, but the scent is very natural and greatly calms my mind. I would say the quality of the incense is very good (comparing to some other brands of Japanese incense I have).

This scent was not for me. A tad bit too powerful for my liking. Others may find it pleasing. Scent does linger. Love nippon kodo Sandalwood which I have been buying for years and adore. I always have it on hand and my place pretty much is embedded with the smell of nippon sandalwood and I always get complements on how great it smells.

This is the best jasmine incense in existence. Scent is pure, not a chemical smell/irritant like many others. It does not have a long burn time but the scent lingers well. Worth the price tag.

If you like jasmine smokey scents you’d like this. I find it too cloying, it’s not a fresher smell it’s heavier-like most incense are- but I’m looking for a more natural scent. Nice box, comes with a little square stand. I love how there’s not as much ash as an Indian incense.

It makes my mind happy and settled on every morning to use with coming my family memories. Jasmine's incense is my best choice of the series.

Having used nippon kodo's cherry blossom incense prior and enjoying that, I thought I'd branch out and try some of their other scents. Their jasmine scent took me by surprise as I liked it far more than I thought I would. The scent itself is very much jasmine. Some will think it may be overpowering, so do bear that in mind if you like a more subtle scent. There's never an obscene amount of smoke that's given off and it could maybe last a bit longer in terms of how fast it burns away. But I do overall enjoy it and would recommend trying their other scents out as the price point is very wallet friendly.

I tried the cherry blossom scent, and like it. Tried different scent, this is not really Jasamin scent, a bit disappointed.
