I scoured the internet for the best organic feed without soy and corn and contained real ingredients that chickens actually needed. Our chicks only ever had this feed with the addition of Chick Grit with probiotics on occasion. Not a single chick ever seemed to get sick or get paste butt or appear anything other than perfectly healthy and happy! I’m glad to continue this brand with their + Grub Protein line for top quality eggs. My stomach can be a little iffy with store bought eggs and I’m hoping that using feed without corn and soy and making sure their diet is actually ideal to their species will provide truly healthy eggs for our family the way God intended. It is costly, but it is worth it to me for our small backyard flock and we plan to supplement with foods and bugs from our garden. I hope that more and more small flock owners will choose the best options and give companies like this the ability to lower costs over time. I’m just relieved that there was such a healthy option available! I do wish local stores would carry this brand, but maybe they will as they grow in popularity.

Hands down our favorite! We bought it at a decent higher price, but that’s understandable with organics and no junk or fillers. Also bought a smaller bag, so would have been better in bulk price. Healthiest chicks we’ve had with this feed. If you’re not making your own, you should be using this.

No complaints here! Was referred to Stratch & Peck from a friend because of the all natural ingredients and high protein. I do wish there was an option for a smaller bag but in any case our chicks will eat it! Shipping was fast and it arrived before the arrival date!

I started feeding this to my 4 week old chicks as buying in bulk was a better value than the small bags as they started to grow. Overall great product to feed chicks.

False advertisement, says 25 lbs and is 24lbs

My young meat birds like the Scratch and Peck grub crumbles. The feed is expensive but I am happy to find organic feed with no soy and no corn. On opening the bag, the feed smells good...not that I am going to eat it! It arrived the day after I ordered it. Thank you for a great product and quick service!!!

This feed is awesome! My chicks have doubled in size, have feathered out faster, are so alert and poop is great! I found my new chick feed!!
