I have used Underberg for many years (I lived in germany for 15+years) - why the stuff works, I do not know. But it works very well, especially after a relatively fatty meal.I gave only a 4-star rating, not because of the Underberg brand itself, but simply because I think visually this is not one their best collectible tins.

I bought this for my Mom and had it shipped directly to her. She said the packaging was good, the tin is beautiful and the contents just as she remembered from growing up in Germany! Also, this was a very good price!

My order arrived on-time, well packaged. Nice tin, and great product. I add it to my after dinner tea.

I wish more people knew about Underberg and it’s capabilities. Yes, it’s an acquired taste, but the way it settles the stomach in minutes is amazing!

This is a strong, gentian-based bitters. Be prepared for a strong alcohol 'hit', from the alcoholic menstrum. With that said, it does just what it's supposed to do. Good stuff!
