USB “C” on older laptops
Perfect for connecting new devices to an aging Laptops. Most electronic devices come today with a USB C type connectors. This small device sits ina std (older) USB type A port, and allows you to connect these devices without having to buy new cable adapters.Obviously you won’t get the very high data rate transmission that comes with the “C” type connector, but unless you are transferring big files, the difference won’t be noticed.

Works well
Bought to use in our caravan which only has the old usb ports and needed a C usb port for my ipad. Have only briefly used one of the adapters so far, therefore, unable to comment on charging power and charging time. Value for money at the time of purchase.

Handy conversation to C type
Bought there to plug into bedside lamps with USB so I can charge my watch 6 easily, works well.

It works
Cheap and simple. I used it to connect a USB port/cf flash card reader to a usb 3.0 port. Works fine for me

Didn't serve the purpose
The charging cable C-type of apple products didn't fully inserted into this USB converter, leaving it susceptible to damage after long use.
