I liked the thermometer because its easy to read, however the suction is nonexistent.

Nice thermometers. Suction cups don't hold longer than 12 hours. Would be 5 stars if they held better.

Sure, there are less expensive options available on Amazon, but why take the risk of using a product has NOT been tested by a trusted independent certification organization (National Sanitation Foundation)?

Nice large display but not easy to view from most angles so if it's in your fridge/freezer, you're gonna need to pick it up or move your head to see the measurement. Nice metal hooks to latch it over the edge of a drawer or shelf - not how it was intended but a nice benefit of having the suction pads always fall off (another negative).However the biggest negative is having them credit fail after 2-3 years. One has the red liquid all the way to the wrong side and the other has it all spread out..Is this the way of all thermometers? Should I be less harsh on these guys? I'm gonna have to buy some more and find out in a few years..

I hate that I had to buy a 6-pack of these, but the large easy to read scale really appealed to me. We have used a number of digital refrigerator thermometers, but they were wildly inaccurate causing us to turn the temperature down in our refrigerator until food was ruined from freezing. These are accurate and should last a lifetime.

I got six of these and they are all within 1-2 degrees of each other. They immediately fog up when I open the freezer, and I have to hold them at the right angle to read them, but they are reliable and don't need batteries.

Suction cups do not hold long, and when they’re attached, they angle downward so you can’t read them without lifting them up, which detaches them. They also fog up immediately so you have to wipe them to read them. Their poor design and inability to hold suction makes them a bad deal for me. I tried to return them and was told by the company they only take products unopened, in originalpackaging, they charge a 20% restocking fee and they won’t pay for shipping. I’ll be appealing to Amazon directly.
