How do i get the day and date to work properly.

In the second position (crown) clockwise you can set the day, and the date counterclockwise in the same position, remember the hour hand has to make a full turn passing the 12 o'clock so you know if it's Am or PM, DO NOT set the date or date between 9 PM and 3 Am that could damage the mechanism with the quick set, pull the crown to the third position and set the watch during that period of time.

Are the dots on the face of the watch and the hands white or is it a beige tone?

The dots, the hands, and the hour markers on this watch are white. It is a beautiful watch. I have five other watches, but I wear this one the most.

時間も見やすく狂いも少ない。（当たり前ですけど）

機械式の時計は使っている限りメンテナンスが不要で使いやすいです。個人的には色も濃いブルーで気に入ってます。目立つ時計ではありませんが、私の所有感は高いです。その他の時計を使って止まってしまったときも時間・曜日日付の調整も楽です。
