I'm a huge fan of Tony DeCarlo and the images in this magazine are wonderful. I happen to own the original of one of the paintings pictured in this issue so I'm kind of partial. But even if I didn't have that painting hanging over my bed I'd still want a copy of this magazine.

this is an excellent publication. Censorship
I thought censorship had been relegated to the history books. Apparently not. The digital version came with censored images and I will never purchase a digital copy again. If you want the real McCoy, order the paper version. As far as content, this is an excellent publication. Censorship???!!!!! DO NOT BUY THE DIGITAL VERSION!!!!!

Second Issue, Even Better
THE ART OF MAN: Fine Art of the Male Form Quarterly Journal has grown since Issue I. The graphic layout is more sophisticated and the articles are allowed more space with more examples of referenced images creating a more finished look. The artists featured in this issue provide a good variety and include Robert Adamcik whose paintings incorporate drawing very successfully, the enormously gifted Canadian painter Daniel Barkley who places his figures in bleak settings that offer strange narratives beautifully devised, Cauro Hige whose humorous and richly colorful paintings offer suggestions of Oriental motifs, Tom Durham who is a sculptor blending mythical heads on human bodies, and Tony De Carlo and his fanciful figures on floral backgrounds as seen on the cover. There is also a sound article on print collecting by E. Gibbons, and art history article on Bouguereau, and a review of the Adonis Art Gallery. Color reproduction is outstanding. This journal continues to grow in importance to the art scene. Grady Harp, September 10
