The text is in English, but you will have to read the book from back cover to front, and follow the panels and word balloons from right to left per page. With that out of the way, I found this a gripping read, and I've already pre-ordered Volume 2 containing the rest of the story.

Great read with amazing artwork!
I can't tell you how much I did enjoy this manga. Artwork itself is brilliant, story is amazing. If you are a fun of Nier and 2B this is must read manga for you! You definitely can treat this as expand story line for the game. You will find out in here how 2B did meet resistance for the first time.
