The customer service is where it's at.
TL;DR: Came for the good price, became a potential lifetime customer for the customer service!Look, HDDs are what they are, right? They generally work, or they don't. This review is not about the HDDs, which are fine, or the price, which is good. This review is about customer service.I ordered two sets of these drives to stand up a new NAS in my home. They arrived in good time, well packaged, and ready to go. I got them installed, added to a new volume, formatted, and started loading data. I almost immediately started getting I/O and UDP errors from one of the four drives. That happens, and it's what all the redundancy in striped volumes and such is for. So I ordered another drive overnight so I could start the replacement/rebuild process on the new volume and get the defective drive out of there, then started the exchange process via Amazon to get that drive replaced with a good oneAmazon gave me the normal seven days to put the faulty drive in the mail but UPS dropped the ball big time in delivering the additional drive, shaving THREE DAYS off my timetable. But I eventually got the new drive, started the replacement process in my NAS, and, three days later, was able to remove the bad drive from the pack.During this time, Tech on Tech contacted me via Amazon and asked what was up with the bad drive, whether I wanted to exchange just the one drive, or the whole set, and noticed that the other drive I ordered was having shipping issues and refunded my expedited shipping costs without hesitation. They didn't bat an eyelash when I asked if I COULD return just the one drive, saying it was no problem at all.Further, when I told them of the time it was taking to get the new drive, and for me to safely remove the bad drive from the volume, they happily gave me another shipping label to use if I ended up outside Amazon's seven day window. Which ended up happening because I got to UPS fifteen minutes late on the last day.Tech on Tech then messaged me to let me know they got the bad drive, and shipped a replacement 2nd day air even though Amazon had closed the return ticket because the bad drive went out late.I have very high customer service expectations and I am constantly let down by just about every organization I deal with from a CSR perspective. And I'm not some crazy person demanding obviously ridiculous things from anyone. All I ask is that phones be answered, people be polite, and that they are actually willing, and able to help take care of basic stuff, like product replacements, without me having to drive the process and justify my existence. I feel like customer service is some kind of dying art that nobody cares about any more and it hurts my soul.I am happy to say, however, that Tech on Tech has restored some of my faith in humanity. Their willingness to hear me, understand what I was going through, and HELP me is a breath of fresh air for me and if this is how they operate on a regular basis (and I have no reason to think that is not the case), then I will start actively looking for products they support when I am making purchasing decisions going forward.Kudos, Tech on Tech. Thank you.

Great storage combo
Bought these for a media server… It is a reliable large storage hard drive that is quiet, easy to install, and from a reputable company. Would definitely buy these again in the future!
