AccessoryBasics Mirror Mount Kit Car Rearview Mirror Mount Holder for Radenso DS1 Extreme Range Radar Detector (Please note the this holder will need 1" of clear stem space to setup) Review: This ended up working perfectly for my Tesla Model 3. I had the Radenso DS1 mounted on my BMW's rear view mirror with a Blendmount. It worked great and the brushed aluminum of the Blendmount is incredible but it also comes at a crazy high price. It wouldn't work with the Tesla rearview mirror as it's a different thickness so I ended up getting this mount and attaching it to the arm of the suction cup magsafe phone holder and ended up being a perfect fit and kept me from needing to route a USB C cable up the A pillar into the edge of the headliner. Review: Worth the money. I have a Radenso DS1 and it worked perfectly. I did like the suction cup mount however the downfall of those is the HEAT they eventually get weak and keep falling off. This mount never falls and sits in a good spot under the rear view mirror. The only sacrifice with this mount is you give up the ability to detach and attach quickly. Some states say radar scanners are illegal and if you want to tuck this thing away it may take a minute or 2 vs a couple seconds with the detachable mount my DS1 came with. Other than that this was worth every penny! It's very stable.

The kit did its job. It worked with the tight space in my Tesla. the products is mostly cheap plastic but it held up well for the past 2 months.

Works as expected for holding my radar detector. The mount is stable but the adjustment mechanism feels a bit loose. Installation was straightforward. Does the job but not the highest quality.

I used this to mount my Radenso DS1 detector. The mount is all plastic (except for the screws), but it feels well built and holds the detector solidly even over bumps. I used the ball mount on the radar detector, and removed the gopro type clamp from the mount. The original suction cup mount falls off the windshield any time theres significant temperature variations, which shouldn't be an issue with this mount. It is very easy to install, simply clamp it to your rear-view mirror arm, install the mounting bit to your radar detector, and attach them together. The ball clamp allows for lots of adjustment to ensure the laser detection sensors are lined up where they need to be, while giving you visibility of the screen. Price is good for what you get, and the peace of mind of your detector not falling to the floor randomly with seasonal changes.
