This blanket is so soft, absolutely gorgeous, and does not shed at all. My cat has been making bread on it constantly since we got it. I highly recommend it. What it isn't, though, is any shade of white or ivory even close to resembling the photo. The only correct word to describe the colour is "beige". I don't mind the colour as it is actually more what I was looking for than the white from the photo, but yeah, by no stretch of your imagination could this blanket be ivory. If you're aware of that, you're good to go.

Excellent! Soft, gentle feel, substantial, heavy weight, doesn't shed, and feels like silk on the skin. My dog tried to take it right away, haha. Makes you want to pet it - the blanket not the dog - she gets plenty of pets. I have bought a second, so that says it all. Btw, the Ivory is a rich dark cream color, very beautiful color, with no tones of yellow or brown. It's the color of creme brulee. Beautiful color and doesn't take away from anything, just saying it's not ivory.

Love this so so much! It is worth every penny. So far, I have not had any shedding or other problems. My kitten even sleeps on it sometimes and still looks brand new. I have not washed it in the washer yet. I have a queen size bed and this almost covers the bed but not quiet. This IS a perfect size for a 5'5" person (: I highly recommend spending the money because this does not look cheap. Good quality, awesome seller. Thank you

I bought the oversized throw in the alpine swift color. It IS lovely. No smell ,not sticky, soft, no shedding.. Nice weight to it. Great color. I saw a few complaints in the review section but they were from purchases last year..at least with my purchase, things HAVE improved greatly . I suspect that these items are contracted out and some people got a bum batch. Im sure they also didn't read the label which says wash it first. It has "sizing" in it which ALL garments and linens do to keep the shape and make them look their newest best. Some sizing stinks. This doenot. If you lie on it, it can feel a bit sticky, but not bad. Once again that's the sizing. So wash it in very cool water and fluff dry on low and maybe hang it to finish drying. NO HEAT or you can mess up the fibers and feel of itAlso people were complaining about the size. Its a THROW/comforter. That means IT NOT A BEDSPREAD!!! Read the dimentions and measure for your needs. If you have a queen, get a kind. It still most likely wont be a floor toucher but READ the measurements! Don't blame the company. A throw/comforter is RARELY the size of a bed spreadI am beyond pleased because I didn't expect such a nice feel and weight.... I may order a queen.The only area in which my top review could fall apart is in laundering. But Im not washing it until I need to.

I bought it for our king bed cuz it looked nice and cozy to put over a comforter. We like to do that to save our comforter as our dogs sleep on our bed. I have not noticed any fuzzing or shedding as some people have said I washed it and dried it in the dryer and everything worked out fine. Have had it on the bed for about a week dogs love it so do I nice and cozy has a soft Brown backing that's very comfortable as well. I bought it because for one it would fit the king bed number two it was the color I was looking for in three it had the nice soft backing instead of the sherpa which I don't like.

I just purchased 3 oversized throw blankets from amazon. Out of all 3, this one had the highest quality look. The marbled brown faux fur looks pretty tasteful and realistic and feels very soft. The back side is lined with a faux suede or velvet type of fabric that is a bit shiny but not too bad in terms of looking low in quality. There are no weird rose or leaf patterns shaved into either side, as was the case with a couple of other throws. No noticed shedding issues yet. This one could be mistaken for being more expensive than it is. Its not really heavy or really light in weight, substantial enough to keep you warm without being too heavy. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on durability but so far, we really like this blanket and would recommend to others.

I bought this for me to keep warm in my somewhat chilly living room. I like having an oversized throw that I can tuck up around me.I love how it looks and feels, and the size is perfect, but it just does not hold in the heat or keep the cold out.I've gone back to my smaller, but warmer, faux sherpa, and I use this one to throw over the couch. The dogs love it.

I actually didn't order this pillow cover. I had been reviewing items on my phone, got up to do something and when I returned Amazon was thanking me for my order. It appears my dog stepped on it and hit one click ordering. I attempted to cancel it, but it was to late. When I received it a few days later, I was so upset the dog ordered the wrong color! The "fur" side of it has got to be the softest thing I've ever felt, amazing. The flip side is a soft fleece type fabric. Very nice item had it matched my home. I went to return it, and Amazon said I didn't have to send it back, yet they would still refund my account!! I never heard of such a thing. I will be ordering the correct color!
