It works good for filtering, sand/silt/sediments before water is poured into storage tanks. Only concern is that it reduces the speed of water flow to some extent as water gets filtered but we have to bear it in order to get filtration. It is to be noted that it cannot kill germs of water if any. After a week the mesh need to be cleaned, thus it should be fitted in such a way that cleaning may be easy. Installation is easy in case of CPVC pipes. For GI Pipes help of plumber may be needed. Over all GOOD PRODUCT in price range below ₹ 500/.

Leakage comes from big thread (2 1/2") when pressurized to 5 bar pressure (14 storied Appartment). Reason found that the inside strainer is longer than required. It should have been 154mm max. Longer than 154mm length prevents O ring at 2 1/2" thread to get compressed. Ihave grinded the length uniformly flat surface to 154mm. Then the leakage problem solved
